Its all black

Why is SC4 terraformer all black? Once, just once when I loaded it, I saw the green terrain, now is it all black.
how to fix it? I also want it to show those squares on the terrain

I have this too, it's just because the default terrain height for a new map is at the same level as one of the topo height lines. Start editing and you'll see what I mean, there's nothing actually wrong.
