More pics for you to peruse at your leisure  :D

A few of the town of B'Nith

The new Mayor Mr. Rob. M. Blynde has stated his disapproval with the fact that almost all the houses are the same.

"We live in the 21st Centuary but keep building things on tried, tested and proven techniques and plans.

Where are all the bright young designers and Architects?  A little variety would be nice"

(Overheard  whispered to aide " and it would make it easier to fleece them without anyone knowing. A case of scratch my back and I'll keep the bribe too lol") But this cannot be substantiated or confirmed!

Funny just how much money is coming in for the number of residents in town? Apparently Monica from the Treasury Department doesn't have to cook the books this year but she says she is at a loss to explaine the surplus funds. Not that she minds as it will make balancing the books even easier this year.

After finding that the reefs in the area were home to a rather large type of crayfish  B&T quickly paid a rather large sum of money to the town's treasurary/ Mayors office and funnily enough  their planning permission and business licence was rushed through and the new Cannery factory was built.

(Look closely. According to the local Wildlife and Fisheries Dept. this new breed can be easily recoginised by their distintive brown colouring.)

At about this time it was also found that the local water and sand was perfect for glasswork and so Hudson Glass also relocated from Carrhae. Mr Hudson asked his advertising department to come up with a new slogan for the company
"You can see though us - we've got nothing to Hide"

Mr Hudson  thought it was a bit transparent!

Not to be outdone Mr Perkins saw an opportunity to produce fine funiture with inlaid glass panels from next door and so a new patnership was formed.

Now all thats needed is a shop to sell all these fine things.

Hope you enjoyed this little trip.

At last got Dusktroopers "Block all maxis content" working properly  :o

Very Observant. You are correct abot Simgoobers Sardinia Row Hosing.

1 = I found that zoning as 4x2 or 6x2 works well.

2 = It also seems that the mayor will pass any planning laws in this town (as long as the planning application has the customery brown envelope attached to the back) as this area was originally set aside for housing but its amazing how decisions can be changed

Bat - Thank you as always

WOW really nice pics. I have a question for you: which bats do you suggest me to obtain a good suburbian area in european style? I saw gascooker's uk suburbia set, it's beautyful but isn't the effect i'm searching for (too english).
Thanks in advance.

HEHEHE it's just for fantasy, only hard handwork to plant trees in suburbs... But it could be an idea for a new mod, i don't have any idea on how to develop it...

I would recommend to get the mod that puts all the Maxis buildings in the Chicago tileset (ST is down and I cannot remember the exact name).
Get Jeronij's street mod!
Use the GLR as trams can be seen in almost every European big city. I do not know any European city with elevated rail and apart from Wuppertal none with a monorail.

Then I would recommend to get the SFBT files (some of them you already have). Haarlemmergold also made some great Dutch houses (Hey, I'm Dutch!), especially his elementary school is a must have!
Tag_one alo made great stuff that grow very well in my cities.
Simgoober made some great commercial stuff get it at PEG's Site: http://www.jphayden.com/pegprod/forums/dload.php?action=category&cat_id=49

I hope this helps.

Thanks a lot, i'll check all as i can. The GLR i think is better to be used in large towns than in suburb, and about dutch housing it's very good but too oriented to that style of country (i'm not making a dutch style country), so then it's better to use a canal set and so on...

jacqulina

hey you guys looking out for more pics
