Casper, very nice!
This is quite realistic. It looks like a lot of exits we have here in the Netherlands.
The roundabouts are a nice touch.

CasperVg

Thanks, here is another interchange, same concept; but applied to an embanked highway.

Thats a nice looking intersection there.  &apls

well done casper.

heres my latest work with the RH mod. Im just really hoping for the release of a 3 lane puzzle peice overpass and a 1 lane rural highway -> One way road transition peice that can help blend the two in much like a oneway to a rh4.

Looking nice, dogma. The Avenues overpassing the highway would look more realistic with 'natural' overpasses, but they would mean lots of work.

A diamond-alike interchange (embanked highway - avenue), featuring a roundabout to connect the avenue to the on-offs.

Drawpath & Grid; to show you how it functions.

Other view, no grid nor drawpaths.

The same type of interchange (sunken highway - avenue). This is far more realistic, as it doesn't require massive ammounts of earth to be moved. No eye-candy here, as I was just going to show how it would be more realistic, and I havn't saved this one into the quad.

Link to a m ap of an intersection with the same concept, but equipped with right turn lanes, near to where I live.

That interchange and the lake in it is looking fantastic! And the newest there is looking beautiful, too, caspervg!
Your have there also (a) great picture(s), dogma555!

Pat

dogma and casper those are some great intersections there and well thought out too

Don't forget the SC4D Podcast is back and live on Saturdays @ 12 noon CST!! -- The Podcast soon to Return Here Linkie

New feature, but diagonal paths go 2 ways, not one way even though it connected a one way.

Ahhhhhh, look out, whos got the green light? And yes, I still have to work out the exemplars in the avenue crossing.

These intersections are fantastic! Everyone's being really creative with their interchanges.

I'm still getting the ropes of the RHW, but it's coming along. This interchange took me about 30 minutes to create, but it turned out all right.

This is a rural highway interchange from my region Eldritch. It's the merger of US-76 with IH-20.

CasperVg

Looks very nice, it does not allow all traffic to go in every direction on the IH-20, right? The setting looks really the perfect place for an RHW.

Right, and actually, I don't think that the u-turn ramp is really necessary because the two highways run in nearly the same direction. The region is based on the southwestern United States, kind of a hybrid between northern New Mexico and the Sequoia National Forest. I have a fascination with the Southwest because our relatives live in SoCal and I've traveled all over the area.

bat

Your intersection is also fantastic, quackmofro! Great work on it!

Great intersections!  Here is one of me:  Intersection A11/A12 in Nieuw Amsterdam

Looking nice there sebes!

I finally found some time to play with the RHW v20 again, and decided to create a 4-leaf clover with dedicated ramp lanes;
I've decided to make the main highway overpass over the other highway, and the ramplanes underpass. I'm not sure why, but it came out pretty nice but unrealistic.

Zoomed out:

I'm now trying to create an interchange on a ringway that is situated on both sides of a river/canal (one direction on one side of river and vice-versa), similar to this one: Offsite Link - Google Maps

As always, thanks to Wounagaine's Clip2Pic for shots and resizing.

My Favourite :)
Took me ages to figure out how to do this.
Meh!

Anthony

^^ very nice  &apls
so...
HOW DID YOU DO THAT? ;D

JoeST

Anthony: there is a puzzle piece in the NAM that allows you to have the under-bridge roundabout, and then you can just use the single sided parallel on-ramps
