I still can't believe how real you region shots look. And the "Bergkamen"-update is one of the best you ever posted. I am especially impressed by these diagonal-but-square farm fields. This is incredibly realistic.
My name is Raphael.

Such an incredible recreation.
For a school project, for geography, I have to promote the Ruhr-area and I was wondering if I could use some of your pictures in the project?

absolutely fantastic!!!!!
you have adapted the real region in so many details, i can't believe that this is possible in SC4.
i'm really thinking of making some photos and post them here to show everybody how detailed your work is!
but first i have to get a camera  &mmm

maybe it's a stupid question, but would you send me the region files? the complete region including the cities and buildings would even not work because i don't have all the lots.
i've searched for years to get a SC4 map of my region, but i can't find one.
i would be very glad  :) and no fear, i will never be a concurrent to you  :D :D :D
sorry because of my bad english

Oh man, it's so great to see this C.J., sorry diary of yours.
I noticed I am still subscribed to your Paris-CJ on Simtropolis which was sadly discontinued, but this project looks even better. Your region shots are the best I've ever seen. I wish I could make them like that. I try, believe me I try (lol).

I salute you dear sir.  &apls

Lünen

Total view of the areas update of today. In bottom forests and farmlands north of "Dortmund"

A more zoomed in shot of the area, not the best recreation parts of my region.. ahwell; it's just a boring village! hahaha

The old center of "Lünen".

The main station of "Lünen". Heavily used by commuters going towards "Dortmund" every day..

Other side of the village center, notice the river "Lippe" that crosses the village of "Lünen"

Total village overview seeing towards the south-west

That's all for today, next time we travel more westwards in the region and I'll promise you a nicer update!\

@ Kamikaze1981; I will give the region files in public as soon as I finished the entire region.. patience my friend

@ all others; thanks for the support, I know it has been a while but I will be more online next weeks again as in the past month.

great update!
i like that little stream going through the town

rooker1

Interesting update, although I'm not too sure about the canal with the jagged edges as they are.  I do understand what you are trying to do with what you have at hand, but.....
Well, I do like everything else, including that train station.  Where did you get that?  I don't recognise it.  ???

Kamikaze1981

ok, Lünen isn't really that what is is in real. there are too many faults in planning the streets, bridges etc. but as you said by youself, it's not your best recreation.
however i still love your MD and i'm looking forward to see castrop-rauxel
