Wow, now this is tough!  Let me start by saying two absolutely beautiful pics.

Warszawa:  As I said in the 'show us your' thread, I really love the contrast, in size and color, of the trees used here.  Gives the forest, and it's edge where it meets the fields, some real depth.  The photoshoping lends it a very etherial(if I'm using the word right) feel, almost like something seen in a dream.

Mightygoose:  I'd thought about posting a pic yesterday-then I saw what you'd entered, lol.  Everything in this picture is so seamless, the building all fit in perfectly with the mood.  It would have been a great picture if you'd stopped there--but you didn't.  The work you've done with the colors just makes it perfect, really conveying the bleakness that was already there.

I love both pics, but the complete intertwining of the scene and editing in Mightygoose's wins it for me.

I like warszawa's pic as the trees give way to farmland, and the way little things peek out from the edge of the tree line, but for some reason I like mightygoose's pic better. I usually try to give a reason for my vote, but I can't quite articulate it. I should note though that I think both are good. My vote is for mightygoose.

I think I have to go with etherian for this round. The picture itself is very clear and sharp, and I love the sunken highway! Would like to see a bit more traffic on the roads, but that's neither here nor there.

I like the tree-lined sunken highway or etherian's pic, and the transit network in general looks pretty good, aside from that tree that appears to be growing over/onto the bridge. I also like the checkerboard pattern on the grass. Though I don't find my eye drawn to any particular aspect of the pic, I do like it overall. My vote this round will go to etherian. Warszawa's pic is good, and I like a good rural shot, but something about the technical aspects of etherian's pic gives it my vote.
