Pat: :P

Also, I forgot to mention that the empty intermodal trucks can also have a load put on them.  I made the LODs tight fitting on the trailers, so if you find one of my plain containers you want on a truck, plop it in the LE and raise it 2.7 meters and it'll be there. ;D

Edit: I think I'm getting more absent minded every day. ::)  I, again, forgot to mention I've uploaded a couple new files to the LEX.  Cheers!

Pat

That is sweet newz there Jestarr!!!  I will have to work with that for sure!!!

thanks for the info on those intermodal truck/trailers. your single container props do look great on those trailers although the container prop family (40 ft) does look small on the trailers, ive been busy with them already. hehe.
and as always, ALL of your work is awesome, you seem to know what is needed and you do it very well. keep up the great work!

I'm liking that farm, more and more, everytime I see it.  Maybe I'll BAT one that's similar. ;D

Don't take too much time batting the farmhouse. There are a lot more interesting houses in the game. The barns are nice.
And maybe I can inform you about the low rectangular black things in the upper right corner. They have tyres on them. These are "kuilvoer". Meaning: hay put under plastic covers as food for the cows in winter time, but these days also in summer. They tell you that the farm is a cow farm.
It is a pity but in the last years it becomes more common that cows are being kept in the barn all year: the land is too far away for the cows to walk there. And the milking machine is also in the barn; it cannot be put on the pastures... So: empty pastures, cows in the barn and the grass has been mowed and put under the black plastic coverings.

Pity that, if I want to simulate my own rural areas, I won't be able to use the new ploppable cattle. :'(

Well, if you're trying running a diary farm with angus and herefords, you just might be in the wrong business no matter where you're keeping them ;).  Unless maybe you think of the brown cows as Jerseys, though I'm not certain what's common out there.

FrankU

I don't know too much about foreign cows... Sorry about that. Here in the Netherlands we mostly have the Friesian black and white spotted ones. They are friendly and produce a lot of milk.

superhands

jes i'd love to see some angus. (the black cattle)
nice work.

FrankU;  Hay, huh?  That's not what I thought it was.  Those covered rectangles would be manure piles, in my neck of the woods, waiting to be collected and sent to a fertilizer processing plant.  Nothing is wasted.   $%Grinno$%

bighead99:  Actually, there are two black angus models included in the set.   ;)

jestarr

*bump*

I've uploaded the Mayor Mode ploppable livestock to the LEX.  Cheers!

Alfred.Jones

Thanks heaps for those Jestarr  Definitely be using those ()stsfd()

I have not checked for awhile but it's seems to be going well Jester.

Alfred.Jones:  You're welcome. :)

jaculina:  Thanks and it's always a pleasure to have you here.

hydra: Thanks and yes, every thing's still moving along. :D

Sorry, no.
Manure is kept in a cylinder. See picture.

The cylinders are say 10-15 meters wide and about 3 meters high. They are roofed with plastic.

jestarr

Hmmm... now those would be interesting to add to a farm.  I think I'll make a couple and see how they look. :D

On another note, I've uploaded the County Livestock Auction Service to the LEX.  This is a reward linked to Simgoober's cattle ranch, which is a CAM stage 4 farm.  The listed dependencies are essential!  Otherwise, neither will be seen.  Cheers!

FrankU

Yes, I saw the auction. It's on my disk already.

I can't wait to see what you do with the farms.

ky72x

I also can't wait to see those farms, but I'm really looking forward to seeing another great factory in the works.  Of course, that's just me... always wanting more and more industrial.  :P

Quick question, is there supposed to be a query for the Sterling Consolidated Manufacturing?  Thanks in advance.
