Oh man...my night lighting is horrible too.  I just bought a new copy of SC4 Deluxe recently because I needed a new serial number to get the stuff from the Maxis website.  I downloaded all the updates on the site, but usually have about half of my night lights work.  Does that mean I need to do what you did?  Because honestly, my brain did a somersault inside my head reading what you were describing

Make sure you download the right SKU# update and pay attention to any message that shows up. If it says that it did not upgrade a file because of its content, then you're running the wrong update. Try another one. After that install the bat prog, its update, LE, and to make sure, even if you already have the bldgprop files, download then again. At the end, find the SC4 exe file (it should be at your program files/maxis/simcity 4 deluxe/apps/ folder and right-click on it to see its properties. Your version should be 1.1.640.0. If it shows only 1.1.610.0, it's because you already have the EP1 update, but you haven't updated yet your bat prog.
Bellow you can see two screenies with the updates needed and one with the final version. This is only for the Deluxe versions.

The game does improve doesn't it?
I like to build during the day, but at night I like to wander through my towns (no one is aware that the mayor is skulking around at night) and enjoy the wonderfull night lighting some of the bats out there have; Hard rock café is great, Madonna in Concert is now something else (for me the nightlighting was the reason to download this one).
The stadium....wow great shot! The sunken shopping malls etc. etc. etc.
Did you btw notice the roof of the stadium? I didn't know that the roof could close too until I saw your update. It's about time that I get it as this is a unique one, where did you get it?

As for the rest of the update: I guess that laveder farmer is quite pissed off as early snow fell took him unaware. I hope the damaage will not be eto extensive for him  Maybe better for him to move to the valley floor.

Oh, you did help alright, and that hell of a job was enjoyable considering what I gained in the end Now the stadium, that's an oldie, but very nice. It's the OitaStadium and can be found in here Don't forget to download the two prop/texture packs above the picture of the stadium. Oh, and I did knew about the retracting roof, that's why on the overview picture, I waited until it close to take the shot

Yes there is very nice stadiums out there. I also have a few nice models from some, the only problem is my lack of skills with the 3D stuff. Here is a few pics from those stadiums models I have











If any of our great batters in here would care to transform this nice models in proper SC4 Bats, feel free to ask, and I'll send or put this models for download.

I eventually have to get that nightlight update. Never found the chance to though. Those stadiums are incredible. I'm an ok BATer but for those works of art I'd find someone amazing. Very nice though

Well ... your city was so beautiful that I didn't realize the lack of nightlights ...I don't know however how Nik-Nik noticed it ; the number of buildings enlightened depends of the night hour and you didn't precise if the pic was taken with the night time switch in or off ... there're eagles eyes in there !

Good snowy pics , I generally don't enjoy them so much cause of these green trees supposed to be seasonal (even if we can imagine it's early or tardy snow...) . Is this Urban Mall with a japanese gallery as prop your own stuff ?  I like that so much you know , you should precise if it's the case , now I have to check up again this MD trying to detect some other "suspicious" Lots  , not so easy : nobody knows every BATs & Lots .
I use too Oita Stadium , the best IMO , but the models you present here are superb (the last is my favorite ) .
