Sorry it's taken so long for me to post here since your news, but I've just returned from seeing Bruce Springsteen in Tennessee and have just seen the news...

I must say that it has been one heck of a run here for you and Blackwater / Islas Gemas, and it has been both an honor and a pleasure to follow along with your extraordinary work, my friend. I truly mean that.

As for moving your MD to the Inactives, I think I will wait until the 45 day limit has elapsed to give everyone a chance to come in and check things out and pay tribute to you and your great work.

Next stop, the MD Hall of Fame...

Take care, my friend, and for a fellow Springsteen fan, I'll be putting on Bobby Jean in your honor.

That's so sad you are stopping it!   I loved it, and I still can't believe it won't be continued!

Islas Gemas was one of my personal favorite MDs, and I'm really sad to see it go.

  Well, I've read Blackwater (with Islas Gemas) from start to finish, and I am saddened by the fact that it will not continue.  How could I have missed this fine read?  On the other hand, reading the MD in its entirety has caused me to understand that you do have good reasons for closing it.  Take care, Emil.

Of course the procedure will be the same as at the first time ie. through voting. But reading all these comments I think Emil's way to the HoF will be easy, personally I will vote for Islas Gemas/Blackwater with a great pleasure

It's an honor and a pleasure to be the first to congratulate you, Emil, on the elevation of Blackwater (always Islas Gemas to me) to the SC4D Hall of Fame.  It is complete recognition for the complete MD.  Folks who would aspire to the genre could do far worse that spend significant time here reading and looking at the things you have seemingly so effortlessly done.  I'll look forward to frequent trips myself- your pages are a source of constant inspiration, along with, frankly, a good deal of wonder.

This makes me the fourth.  The content that I have read in here... is nothing short of amazing.  It is realistic, detailed, and beautiful.  Although I'm sad that Blackwater (with Islas Gemas) is closed, I'm glad that it is in its rightful place in the SC4D Hall of Fame.  Congratulations, Emil.
