Joe:  Thanks!  Yes... I was a bit devilish for a minute there.  :o

Shaun:  Thanks!  Floating roof?  We it is a bit more modern of a school... but I finished that part off anyway.  ;)

Arthur:  Thank you!

Pat:  Thanks!  The door to nowhere is actually a teaching aid used to educate students on contentment.  Picking what's behind door number two is not always the wisest choice!  (Actually it's going to be roof access... for another floating roof)

Had a bit of a marathon session today.  It took a lot longer than I had hoped to get this far, but those curved walls were an absolute nightmare to sort out for a while.

I'm pretty happy with how things have turned out to this point.  It will probably take me the bulk of my next session to finish off this side and close everything in.  Then I'll move back to the other side.  My guess at the lot size is looking to be a bit too small... think more along the lines of 10 or 11 tiles wide!

10 or 11 in tiles size jon that aint small lol.... I will remember to never ever pick door number 2 lol....  It seems though that your nightmare has paid off and the curve turned out pretty well IMHO!!!!

Wow you've been busy Jon. The high school looks great and that curved wall looks like it will be worth all the work put into it. 11 wide will be a heck of a lot, but I'll be sure to make a space for it. Did you base this one off a particular school (or collection) or are you just building as you go? I've been tempted to try the latter version one of these times, just to see where it leads. No worries about the change up of building order either, it's always interesting to see what you're up to no matter what category it falls into. It also means more school packs for us when they're done. Glad to see you're back at the BAT. Take it easy.

It's looking great, but one small nitpicky thing...

The old building has no main entrance door! Even a small school would have had some way in!

I'm sure you've already thought of this, but just stating I have noticed it.  :D

Wow, looks like I missed an excellent building in development while I was gone  &apls

Wow I love this new BAT, can't wait for the release! ;)

Great work here JB! Lovin' the school. ;D

Just wondering about those textures . . . as you seem to not be replying to my PMs. If you could just send the bare textures over, that'd be sweet.  :)

i wonder if i am allowed to make this alive... again... $%Grinno$%

but anyway... wondering if there is any update so far to the schools project?

Pat:  You're right, this will definitely be my largest high school.  I have a request that one of them be more geared towards smaller cities, so maybe I'm just balancing that idea out?  I don't know.  Glad you like the curved area!

Matt:  Thanks!  This one is actually based off of a single picture I found... which is actually more of an artist's render drawing type image.  I really liked the building a lot.  Unfortunately, it's built on a bit of a hill and I have no way to really make it work that way, so a few things have to change.

Arthur:  Thank you!

Simpson:  Thanks!

Cammo:  Yeah... I know there's no door to the older part.  I'm going to say it was either A) never actually an older part, but just made to look that way  or B) removed during the remodeling process to avoid confusing the kids.  :D

XiahouDun:  Thanks!  Nice to see you back again.

Fatsuhono:  Thank you!

Tom:  Thanks!  I sent you some textures again... I assume you got them?

Allan:  By all means, bring the thread to life!  I don't have any proper updates just yet, but I should have some things to show later this week.

As you've all probably realized by now, my usual summer absence has extended a bit longer than normal this year.  For those who don't know, I moved to northern California about three weeks ago.  I finally have a house of my own again for the first time since April!  Along with this is a new job... which ended up being another camp after all (not the college environment I had originally planned on)  Needless to say, all this has kept me extremely busy over the past month.  I just got the last of my boxes from Michigan a few days ago, so I'll finally have my usual computer back up soon.  I'm still trying to settle in and finish unpacking.  I also am limited to internet at the kitchen right now until I can get the house hooked up.  So... updates may still be a little hit and miss, but things are coming back together.  I hope to return for good very soon.

Until then...
JB

Jon,
Glad to hear the move and all is complete and that things are starting to settle down again. Interesting that you're at another camp (perhaps a BAT series... yeah, you have enough to do as it is, but it might be neat). Where is it if you don't mind my asking? No worries about the updates, you'll be back at it soon enough, and when that time comes, I'll be waiting.

yeah me too, I was lamenting the possible loss of those really realistic apartment complexes ;)

But no anyways, I'm glad your finished moving. That's something I used to hate as a kid, because along with the other major issues with moving such as coming to a new place and losing all your friends, etc, I always felt like my parents purposely made me wait forever to get the computer unpacked so I could play Simcity 2000 :P

SmalltownUSA - Collector's Edition:

This release includes every lot made for the Smalltown, USA Series in 2006. They have all been updated with BTE and are now included in various reward chains. There are also a couple new reward chains specifically for this series. No changes were made to the buildings or lots in this upgrade, so no bulldozing is necessary. Please use the "remove list" included with this zip and delete everything listed before running the installer... or let BSC Cleanitol TM do the hunting for you. Additional information can be found in the readmes for each building.

Note I do not get a "remove list" with my download  Waiting to update this until I hear from you.

Matt:  I've thought off and on about a set of "camp" buildings for a long time... but who knows it that will ever really happen or not!

XiahouDun:  Distraught?  I feel terrible now!  But, if it inspired you to start making some stuff, then it can't be all bad!  ;)

Pat:   :D

Zaphod:  I'm still not sure about the status of those apartment complexes.  The move created some issues with my desktop and it remains to be seen whether the RUSA stuff will survive or not.  I may be lamenting the loss myself... but I don't know yet.   :'(

Tidalpool:  Oops!  It seems that when I did my latest updates for the new dependencies that I forgot to include the Cleanitol list.  My apologies.  I have updated the lot... but the list is also attached to this post to save you a little trouble.  Sorry about that!
