Not a problem   I just dl'd the DEM data from the international site for Detroit/Windsor and will begin working on it in the next couple of days to get it on the upload list so you can get it a wee bit sooner

That sounds great. I was born and raised in the Detroit Metro area. Have lived in Arizona, Norther Cal, Southern Cal and Idaho. Back in the Detroit Metro area for the last 18 years now.

I lived in Detroit from May '85 to May '86, was born and raised in Santa Barbara Ca and lived there for the first 19 years of my life.  I have now lived in northern Wisconsin for the past 22 years, since i married one of those mid-west farmers' daughters

All I have left to do on the map for you is open up the 16-bit tif file with Photoshop and re-save it as a 16-bit greyscale png, then compress it with SC4TF and render it   I'll throw up the SC4TF overview pic tomorrow sometime   Right now it's going to be a 1793x2049 [7x8 lrg tile] map.

Wow that was quick. Cool. Speaking of cool boy I though I had it bad with the cold weather and snow! Shoot you are up there in the real winter freeze.    I really liked the weather in Orange the city that is. But the people are very strange.

I'm pretty fast with converting DEM data.....I guess your SC4TF overview image will posted here in about 20-25 minutes or so.....just finished a rather easy compression with SC4TF and saving the sc4m file now.....all that's left after that is the render, which I will work on over the next couple of hours before I go to bed for the night.

Wow Troy! youre a map machine... what most surprises me is that you render it soo quickly  keep tha hard work on

The reason I can render these maps so quickly is because the only plugin in my plugins folder is the terrain mod hence a faster load time for each city tile.
