Thank you all very much for the comments. Today's the last update from this map, afterwards we will move to the downtown, which grew very well. At the moment I'm building on a region-expansion. Yes it's nearly full hehe .

Hey guys. Today I shot alot of pictures. And now I'd like to show you the first ones of them.
We move to the downtown area of Valdivia, which as developped pretty well in the last weeks.
The downtown area is splitted in 3 different maps, so we will go from map to map.

First a region picture. You can also see some new island in front of the Valdivian coast. They are part of the region expansion. You can see also, that 2 tiles mountains in the back had to move, because otherwise the region would get to big. 




And this is the first downtown area we will look at.




And some overviews that you know what will expect you in the following updates.

Those blocks estates and one-family houses are juest great. But in downtown I feel somtehing... likes something wrong there, but maybe it's just because I don't likes downtowns

Just a question, but what region are you using? I really like the way the mountains are set up and I was wondering how I could replicate that effect.

I've just skimmed through the first 5 pages and have to say I'm impressed with the MD.  Fantastic job on this, and the map for some reason looks familiar, but can't put my finger on it.  Did you make the map yourself?  All in all, I most definitely am looking forward to more updates.

I thought it looked like one of mine, but wasn't sure.  I'm glad it's working out for you, Santa Barbara just happens to be where I was born and raised, so it's a thrill to me to see you using for your MD.  That is the best satisfaction I can get when others use maps I've made for this purpose.  Of course, I'm going to be continuing to come here so I can watch the development of that map

blade2k5: I just love Santa Barbara. I was there this summer for some days on my USA-trip and it was beautiful there. We camped near the beach of El Capitan - amazing.

So Valdivia is back and it's cloudy weather for this time. I promise next time it will be sunny again.

Ah yes, El Capitan... used to go there at night in the summer and look at the stars through my telescope...anyways, nice cloudy update   It matches perfectly with the scene outside my window.....cloudy

I just read through your entire MD, and I am very impressed. The region map looks beautiful, as well as the rural pics. The downtown shot with the plane through the fog is fantastic. If you haven't already, you should put it in the picture comp, I'm sure it would do well. I'll look for more in the best sellers soon.

It looked like imageshack is shrinking your mosaics down, I'd reupload them to photobucket or fileden for them to show up with their regular size. They look great though, really like the park
