carkid1998: Thanks so much! And don't worry about missing updates, either, with all the great stuff that happens here at SC4D, it's easy to get caught up! I'm glad you like the square, too—but don't sell yourself short, my friend, you don't know what you capable of until you try, right? Good luck!

Alex (Driftmaster07): Well, thank you so very much, Alex! Your compliments and support are very much appreciated, my friend!

UPDATE XXXIV
Expanding Abitibi Square
26 April 2009

One of the downsides—or upside, depending how you look at it—of the LE is that, once you get bit by the bug, it's hard to fight it! Which brings us to the expansion of Abitibi Square...

...which, prior to development, looks like the above. Here...

...is the area slated for expansion. Like the last section of the area, we've got multiple lots to fill up a large area. First piece of the puzzle?

A 14x13 lot containing Buffalo, New York's HSBC Arena by sargeantcm. And...

...it's in place!

Next...

...a 3x13...

...for in front of the arena. Then, a...

...3x10...

...for in front of that! But as we can see, there's a few holes that need to be filled in. One that is...

2x1, and...

another that is a 1x1.

That brings us...

here—to the one-way road on the north end of the square (Abitibi Square North). As one of our earlier teasers illustrated, now it looks like...

this!

We then...

...reconnect the diagonal avenue...

...to the square, and we're finished! Here's a few shots of the new area—

And a mosaïc...

That's how the Abitibi Square area currently stands.

Hope you like it!

Hi Dustin,
Excellent LE work my friend, that area is just stunning.
All those lots are very well thought and done. Maybe, I'm not a big fan of the texture you used, but if you like it, it's the essential thing !  ;D

Take Care,

Arthur.

Nice job, Dustin!   The legendary LE work continues, and we get to see another fine stadium.  The effort to fill all of the holes leaving no blank spots or jagged edges is something to truly be proud of, Dustin.  Good work!

Geesh every time I come here there's something new that blows my mind.  Fantastic work as always Dustin!   &apls

OWR underpass?  You said that was by Marrast, but is it transit enabled like the road FLUP in the NAM or does it just convert to subway like the Big Dig lots?

Battlecat

Amazing as always.  The mosaic looks great, you're doing a great job of blending all these different pieces together.

darraghf

Wow! That is spectacular. Your LEing is wonderful.

Dustin, getting so many elements to come together in harmony is a miracle in itself, but the pre-planning must be of epic proportions. I'd love to get a look at the plugin folder you use to create one of your monster lots! ;D In fact, there are lots of things I'd like to know about the unseen details since I've been nipped by the LE bug myself lately,

You should consider releasing some of your work because you have an obvious talent for lotting.

HOLY SMOKES. that is sublime, fantastic LE work. that is all i can say... oh apart from give yourself a karma point..
NAM + CAM + RAM + SAM, that's how I roll....

dedgren

That's astounding LE work Dustin.  There's a very small contingent of Lot Editor master crafters out there (Cédric/Badsim, Barby/BarbyW and Jim/jmyers2043 come immediately to mind)- you can rightfully, with that effort, take your well-deserved place among them.

Bravo, my talented friend.  Bravo!!
