Driftmaster07 , well I don't know what's gonna replace Lucy's Truckstop, maybe another one, maybe a hotel?......a bar?....a motel?... or a simple bus stop?......We will probably find out with the next update, there's a lot of rumours about it.

just_a_guy, You're quite right about the barn, I just saw that too, must have grown without me realizing it. It will be moved next time.

Now, there are some strange things going on in the Winding River Wilderness. Two bridge workers have disappeared without leaving a trace......hm....?

If you have the character of Guy Racsan, then I am not confusing you with the Mr Racsan.
Guy is only about to start one of his own businesses (I can't say more, not to give away any surprizes for the story) and that is coming up soon.

Driftmaster07 , depending on how they disappeared, many speculations, but not really any facts nor solutions. If they fell into the Chimeriver, where the bridge is being build, it only is about one more kilometer long when it hits the Mighty Winding River, see picture.
The big white circle is where the search and rescue teams are now concentrating their searches.

just_a_guy, what you see on the picture below is about only 20 % of the whole region and only a few parts of this has been fully discovered and explored yet, imagine all the rest? The whole eastside of the region (about 60% of the total) is completely unknown, except for some aerial mapping. I guess many things are still to be explained and maybe many mysteries are yet to be solved.



An important update will come on sunday night. Some things will be cleared, but new problems arrise. It is winter of 1961/62. The bridge construction has stalled because of severe weather conditions, survival of the two workers illiminated, Water and power problems are close to the acceptable limits, a new problem arrises with garbage,  a new mayor is proposed to be elected, demanteling of the sawmill has started, the Highway Soccer Team wins the national championship, the government gives green light to a big construction Company to create new neighborhoods, accidental death in the Gabber family  and the US have shipped armies to Vietnam.

This project continues to develop beautifully, and the story is coming along nicely!  I'm enjoying how you really look carefully at the small individual stories in the middle of a developing region like this.  Looking forward to seeing what else is coming!

Driftmaster07  I can't really answer that because it will give away the punch, but one member of the Gabber family accidently died and the whole family feels deep sorrow these weeks.
