12x19 large tiles and I'm damn proud of it! (even if my friend Xiziz made it :P)

Thats an old shot so many of the dumb spikey peaks havent been reterrformed to not suck.

Giligone

Yoman that region is massive! Does that not mawl your computer? I once tried a region that was something like 60x40 (small tiles) and it was so deathly slow I had to abandon the endeavor.

mjig_dudy

That is on e massive region, and very nice too.
Just loading the image slows down my computer ;)

oldrogue

the thought that goes thru my mind....is how many lifetimes will it take to fill that sucker up ::)
Sometimes I go into my own little world....but it's ok, they know me there.

Beautiful region, Jacky!

Yoman: WOW! That region is huge! And it looks great!

bat

wonderful region shot, jacqulina!

Yoman

Yeah, it takes longer to get back into the region then to go into a fully developed city :P

It shouldn't take too long to fill because I'm only building on the Turkish part, most of it is mountains that will be left untouched :), and I can fill a large tile with farms in one day :)

jacqulina

thankyou so much, excellent work guys &apls

Enzo

this is the region i'm working on, as you can see this is far from finish ...

TheTeaCat

Interesting region you have there Enzo. I like the cliffs and would like to see how you next proceed with it.

Here's my new region (MD coming eventually :P) that I just finished treeing.  I'm using Cycledogg's Italia Terrain Mod (only on Peg's site), with his Meadowshire Coast Tree Controller

I was going to develop NHP's Kinbasket Lake, but I decided it was too big (it was going to happen eventually, better now than halfway through developing it), and found NHP's Perote Coast, which has a lot of the elements that I liked about the Kinbasket Lake map, in a much smaller package (35 quads instead of 81).

Enzo

great region
which height limit have you choosen for snow and what is your highest mountain height ? I love the snow falling from your mountain on the hill, it looks very realistic but I've the feeling this isn't at high altitude, is it ?

rooker1

Here is a shot a my new hand made region.  It's not suppose to be perfect as I will be terraforming as I go.  But the main shape is there.........I think.  I really don't like changes in elevation, that's why there are alot of flat spots.

Robin
Call me Robin, please.

bwatterud

@Enzo-I'm using the higher snow patch, but the mountain in the center isn't very tall.  After it reaches the snow level, it flattens out.
