Ok, toned down the glass, but got delayed as I ended up hanging out on the pool deck... All those bikinis ... oh, the pain.....  ;)

Doing a first test render today.  The large overhang will be the main entrance for dropping off victims... err.. customers....

Wonderful work Jeff &apls
The glass textures look great now. I also like the swimming pool. maybe you can add some small palm trees around it, I think that would look cool  ;)

XiahouDun

Absolutely stunning. I am in awe of the textures

You may have meant to search for Houdini. (result of searching for XiahouDun on SC4D)

Looking good goober. Good to see your doing some more resort hotels. There were lacking since hardly anyone other then yourself and a scattered few other individuals made any.

Here is a school I am working on. It's gonna be a private school with a story behind it, but you'll have to wait till it's released to learn the story... lol... Several tongue in cheek things going on here.  It's actually almost done, but I have several little details to do, plus a few props to make for the lot...

Wow, that is one great looking BAT! Kinda reminds me of a little Dutch chateau where I had dinner a couple of years ago. Can't remember its name, though. Must be getting senile, sigh... &mmm

HEY! normal lurker here.. love the range, variety and approaches shown in your SC4 explorations..

I don't know if this thread invites support questions, or if this should be posted elsewhere.. feel free to move it if this is the wrong place. I have 2 questions:

1. I am using your "freight station" .. at least that was my understanding of its use .. that shows a cargoloader and queries a capacity of 5000. I have it in the middle of my industrial area and well-served by connections, but it has 0 usage. Is it a functional lot? Perhaps this is just coincidence, but I thought it odd. Sorry.. nevermind.. hehe... a mattb's passenger station was blocking the freight.. works fine now..  ()stsfd()

2. I am using your "water chain" and often go to the "Water Control Board" when it is appropriate due to its great impact on water pollution. However I always get the same issue.. it report a huge capacity boost over the "normal" water sources present before placing it, and it does great for cleaning water pollution, but the capacity reported seems to be incorrect (both as reported by the query and by the "water graph view"). Even though I show LOTS of water available, when the capacity of the lots of other than the WCB is exceded, lots start showing "no water zots". Is this something you knew about? Am I interpreting it incorrectly? I'm not complaining about having to add more water capacity, but it leads one to be falsely secure about the water available when reading the WATER GRAPH view.

SimGoober

Hmm. The Water Control Board doesn't supply any water, it just lowers water pollution.  The amounts reported in the query are in game variables, which Maxis provided. If they are not accurate, I have never really noticed.  I'll look at it again next time I play; I made that so long ago I forget the exact details.

I just made a quick check on it.. it SEEMS to show a DOUBLE capacity on all reports, but in fact it, as you mentioned, does NOT change capacity.. just makes something go goofy on the reports variables. I didn't have a way to exactly measure this, but its seems very close to double.

MrMoody

Hey, I wonder if you could help me out with your lots too.

I installed your I-M lots vol 2 and all the dependencies listed with it, but I am getting a missing ground texture:

Just guessing, but perhaps Pegasus' Mountain Texture Pack has changed?

SimGoober

Sorry, I had several oppses for a while on textures.  Those textures are in the PEG_MTP_SUPER_TEXTURES_PACK.dat    I believe it is available on the STEX.  For many months I thought I had deleted that pack, but I had actually moved it to a weird folder.  So I assumed all my textures used were BSC ones....

And on the water control board, I will investigate this myself as well.  Funny how these things pop up; that has been out for a couple years at least....

Thanks! I (didn't) see it there, but found it at SimPeg.

Edit - found it at http://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=20966 however it's v.101 while the one at SimPeg is 102.

It also apparently supersedes the MTP Texture Pack Vol 2.

Aye, that's what I expected.. that's why I posted it.. puzzling to me. I forgot to mention this is in a CAMeLOT region.. don't know if that matters.. thought I should add that.
