Atrubia - Update 71: A Few Progress Pics

HOLY! That is the best Middle Eastern / American city I've seen! Nice job!
(On a small note, if you know how to use the BAT, you should BAT your own piers and all that junk. Probely, it would look better. But. your choice.)
If you want a more Middle Eastern mansions. You could use Frogface's or prepo's houses on the STEX. Just a suggestion is all.

Hmm, doesn't that tree interfere with the lighthouse?  Also, those seagulls are still pestering the lighthouse at night!

Alex, you have certainly put a lot of time and effort into this MD and deserve the move to OSITM this month 

You have provided another great update here. Pic one and two really caught my eye, love those islands, particularily pic 2 with the lagoon/harbour. 

And I wouldn't mind one of those houses along the beach with it's owm wharf.

Hey Alex, congrats on your award, really deserved.

I love your city, I'm a real admiror of your work.

I've always wanted to plop some boat docks right outside some res zones on islands and shorelines like the ones you have on several islands but never found something like that. I've read you got them from Pegasus but I can't seem to find them, I have installed the OWW2 Resource Pack 1 but still can't find it, would you mind telling me where or how can I find it so I can plop it on my islands pls?

I will kick off this update by showing you a plane landing at the new completely re-designed Riyadh International Airport.



I have tried to implement a "Round Terminal" concept to my airports and I think they turned out well.



There is also a new Airport Hotel in the middle of the main terminal.



This is the entrance to the new terminal.



Lotus airlines has bought their own terminal here at the airport. However theirs also handles Intl. flights. So about 4 tiles from the actual entrance to the terminal there is Atrubian Customs.



A little ways down there is a viewing food court. This is used, while waiting for your flight, to be entertained and watch planes land.



A plane lands at the new airport approximately every minute!



One of the new terminals. All were demolished and rebuilt. Everything was redone except for the runways.



The last completed terminal was this one here. And it comes with a subway station.



Only one terminal partially survived. The old Soviet-Era terminal building. It was taken apart and rebuilt during construction. It is now one of the most modern terminals in the world. This was kept so that people would have a link to Atrubia's past when coming here.

Nice airport! So let me get this straight, this region copies the western countries such as United States of America, Canada, etc. Anyways, it could use more middle eastern styles than a western style which I did before which completely ruined my middle eastern cities. So, you could at-least try to keep its "heritage" or something.

I just one request, where can I get some mansions, suburban housings, etc. so my M.E. cities would'nt look like the future or something.

Nice airport my friend, although I find that hotel in the middle of the terminal a bit off.
But that aside, great update!

The airport is looking great and it's good to see your custom lots in there too 

From a passenger viewpoint, the hotel in the middle of the terminal certainly is a great idea. From a safety viewpoint, well it just depends on how close the building is to the runways.  I guess that is a subtle hint for an overview shot
