@louistsw: That is an amazing mosaic! I like the way you terrace the city with Mas71's Walls.

@SteveMSim: Nice suburb, just one suggestion: try to make the infrastructure seem like there is no grid. Try making the residential areas have roundabouts as cul-de-sacs, like the one in the upper-right corner, and utilize diagonal roads and streets.

I think I'll post a few pics later :D

Stunning Mosaic fighter_jingyu!  Thanks for proving a full resolution link!

One question: how did you get the asphalt highway texture to apply to the entire diagonal trumpet interchange near the top left of the mosaic?

Once again, awesome job!

io_bg

WOW!!! :o My mind is blown away ;D
I'd like to ask the same question as Hal about the interchange ;)

wow thanks you love that one ;)
but i must say some sorry to you:
@Haljackey & io_bg:
sorry to disappoint you, because that the texture of that interchange was a fake :-[
it was a photoshop magic..and it really killed a long time...

but actually once i had compared the Asphalt-Highway-Textures.dat with the newer version Textures_Asph_2.dat in reader,
and... to tell the truth, i have no patience at all to make a update of the asphalt texture for me :-[ although i really love the deep grey one...
so... i have to found another way to make the interchange suitable :D

and@WC_EEND:
well i'm terribly sorry about the low network condition..
as you know,it was a huge pic.. and i'm not a paying member of photobucket, the imageshack.us was not available in my location either.
so i can only upload it to skydrive.live.cn.
although slow, it's still available for us all

and@canyonjumper:
thank you!! some new shot will be released very soon
