Your last night mosaic is nicely done indeed. A good selection of buildings and the road network looks great.

Hope you enjoy the month to come.

Hello Ioan,
Great first update for the month.
The night shots are stunning.  I never play enough at night any more.  I should see what my city looks like. ::)
Just out of curiousity....is your city grown, plopped or a mix of both?  Are you playing with the CAM, and if not, why?
Either way, everything looks great!

Robin
Call me Robin, please.

io_bg

Hey, Robin,
Thanks for the compliments. To answer your question(s), most of that city is plopped. And I'm also not using CAM. I might try it one day though :P

Nice night shot! Where do you get your little monument that kinda looks like the Turning Torso building in Sweden? And usually how big are your city blocks? Also, how do you get the bridges to go over avenues and seawalls? And where did you get your sunken highway walls (like the ones with the stairs)?

Looks like I've forgotten to answer Daryl's questions... Well, better late than never, eh? ;) That monument is made by Jasoncw and can be found here. My city blocks are in different sizes. I don't really like the grid, that's why I'm experimenting with that - 4x6, 6x6, 5x6 tiles... It depends. The walls can be found here. And the avenue which goes bellow the bridge is made by using overhanging lots I found at a Japanese site, unfortunately I don't remember which one exactly.

A great first update for your OSITM, and like the rest have been saying the night shots are looking wonderful.

Nice update Ioan, I really love how we switch from skyscrapers (in one of my favorite style - Artdeco) to small W2W buildings, I have no doubt on why your MD gets into the OSITM.

All the buildings you're using in this part of the city are very well chooses, and the way you placed them is great and pleasant to see. Although, one or two of them seems to be a bit out of place. By that I mean the big slim building in the first mosaic, I think you should delete it (or at least if you really like it put it in another place, and put a smaller one, which will leaves a better view on the river for the skyscrapers/buildings which are just after it.

In the second mosaic, I like how the canal goes though the skyscrapers at the bottom, it reminds me my business district... Only that canal (which is ugly me thinks )..  ;D The rest of the city that the mosaic shows is great and well done. The river looks good but I only suggest you to put underwater flora, because the whitish color of the water is sooo ugly !  $%Grinno$% The Children's place and that SFBT's police stations are fitting very well in there. Also, you should also use some fillers lots at the avenue diagonal part, because putting trees to hide that isn't the best thing to do ! $%Grinno$% And a last thing for that second mosaic, I didn't know that trees were growing into interchanges...  :D

The night shot is also great, all these lights makes me thinking of N-Y, i don't know why but it looks like New-York City night life. But i'm not fan of the effects you put on the river, I think it's a bit too much..

Anyway, great work.
I hope to see more great update like that in your OSITM.

Arthur.
I'll take a quiet life... A handshake of carbon monoxide.

Thanks for answering my questions io_bg! Unfortunately, I can't play Simcity anymore because I got many viruses from all that stuff I have downloaded for SC4. My dad had to restart the whole computer so now no more Simcity.

nedalezz

I agree with sumwonyuno, those night effects on the water are very nice.

Congrats on making it to OSITM, and with updates like that, I certainly can see why :)

djvandrake - Thanks!
Battlecat - Thank you, I'm glad you like them!
kwakelaar - Thank you! :)
art128 - Thanks. As for the canals, they're not my favourite, too, but at least they have a big variation of pieces. I didn't use diagonal fillers because the sidewalk would be much wider, and I don't think I'd like to have it. And why not to have big reflections on such large buildings? ;)
sumwonyuno - Thanks!
Tomas Neto - Obrigado! ::)
daryl7478 - Oh, I'm sorry to hear that! I guess you've downloaded files from the Maxis' lot exchange? It's possible that there might be files that are dangerous for your computer.
nedalezz - Thank you and welcome to Pirgos!

Update 32

I see you like the night shots, that's why I'm posting 3 more! :P

I hope you like them! Feedback is welcome! ;)
