That coastal scene is amazing!  Love the way the shipwreck turned out!

armagin

Love it, Love It, LOVE IT! Steampunk is a passion of mine and this is something special indeed! Wondering though, how much of this is plopped vs. natural growth? Seems like a large portion of your city could be one or the other!

BuildingUp

I've never seen anyone make that maxis building look so natural. You truly have a unique talent.

CalibanX: Thanks a lot, shorelines scare me so I'm glad it turned out ok.

Canyonjumper: Thanks, hope you like part 3.

Planetechef: Thank you very much for the nice comments. If you liked that movie I'm sure you'd like the steampunk genre overall. Hope you stop by again.

Marcszar: Thanks a lot for replying, I'd love to live in a steampunk world too - though I'd miss the internet.

Marsh: Glad you like the style of my city, though I always find smog irritating to add for some reason. I wish the default Maxis smoke was
larger in appearance to save me time :)

Battlecat: Thanks for the reply!

Armagin: Thanks for the reply. I usually start with natural growth (especially in residential areas) then start to remove buildings I don't like and plop new ones where I see fit. Sometimes however if I want to recreate something exactly, either from my imagination or a real area, I prefer plopped buildings.

Tomas Neto: Thanks for visiting + the reply, hope you stop by again.

Kimcar: Thanks for stopping by, not sure what you mean about the image though?

Buildingup: Thanks for replying, some of the Maxis buildings are really nice, I think it's just that everyone's sick of seeing them :)

Ecoba: Thank you very much.

Mightygoose: Thanks a lot!

Yan077: Thanks for the compliment.

Kelis: Thanks!

Girafe: Thanks a lot, hope you visit again for the next update.

Engorn: Sorry, even though I have quite a lot of free time, I don't update as much as I should, thanks anyway!

JoeST: Thanks!

I_love_lamp: Oh my, thanks for the reply.

This is soooooo beautiful! I love the style of your MD. As a French, it reminds me a lot of the aesthetic universe of Enki Bilal, Jules Verne, and especially that of the "Artifices" album of the comic Sillage.

Wow, where to begin? There is sooooo much to take in. A couple of things stood out as I drank in this most excellent update. That roundabout with the multistory buildings on/in it. I loved that. Your naval base is superb. Those Battlecruisers look pretty tough. I couldn't help my mind going to the Korova Milk Bar when I saw your Clockwork Cat lounge. I find myself wanting to know where you are getting some of these photoshopped images appearing in your MD.......but please don't tell.

My keyboard broke because my jaw dropped on it! Awesome pictures! I loved the multi-story roundabout, and the detail!, I loved the detail!

             Your amazed friend,
                                       Jordan

You're a fantastic artist and storyteller, antimonycat! This latest update was a real tour-de-force, even for the high-quality kind of updates you've always posted here. The warships are certainly a great touch; I must ask, are they real SC4 plugins or just sophisticated Photoshoppery? Either way, they're a real testament to your artistic prowess.

Looking forward to more!
Zack
