Another great update Yan.

To answer ur question, yeah Mamma Mia is a movie but it started out as a play. The setting where they shot the movie was just magical, and ur updates remind me of it ;). It's magical ;D.

It is again a beautiful update, and like the rest I can only say it is looking impressive the way you can handle water, beaches, rocks and flora. One of the most unique MD's around.

planetechef

awesome work, i need to say then i use to follow your MD on TSC and never post around here, here we go, i did, a first post for say then Corsica & of course Alaska are both reallly well done, your last update as well, i like the way you make this mountain, creeks, beach, lot of works, lot of details for a beautifull result. Take care
& coming soon "Sakura Republic".

Hello Yann ,  :)

Your Corsica is at the same time the most lively ode I've seen (and/or heard) , dedicated to what an entire community of alchimists (BATers & MODers)  has been able to do since the release of  SimCity 4 to transfigure it in something else , and the perfect expression of your incredible mastery.  I would have never thought  it was possible to reproduce Corsica 's wild beauty and you did it , and , as it seems , as easily  than some others run out of steam to reproduce a suburb .This whole MD is flabbergasting , exemplary , and I hope it will be nominated for the next Hall of Fame election where it already stands in my heart ...

Thank you so much .

Cedric .

Sorry for the late replies... a lot of work these last weeks and not many time for Corsica...

ecoba
thanks so much. Porto Novi is inspired by a little marina called Porto in the west coast. It's a wildest region of Corsica. And I'm not from Corsica but I spent three years in "Marseille" the biggest city of south France, in front of Corsica. And I said, it will be fun to recreate some landscapes of the island  ;D

Well, I decided to shut down my favorite island for a while.. I actually have no inspiration on Corsica...  &mmm
I need a new challenge, and decided to create a huge mediterranean city... I really dont' know where I go, I let you judge.

I just can say Sarasota is a twin towned with Corsica, located somewhere in the mediterranean world...
Here is the first pictures of the city   ;)

To the next,
Yann

Happy to see new things about Corsica.
Building a mediterranean city is a new challenge but an interessant project, I am sure that it would be beautiful, and the first pics are really good.  &apls &apls &apls

Wow, this is one awesome city, Yann !!
I like the general shape of it, looks like quite colorful and quiet, even with some big buildings.
Take care,
-Arthur.
I'll take a quiet life... A handshake of carbon monoxide.

Sad to hear that Corsica has been put on the backburner, but Sarasota looks wonderful as well, Yan. It really does seem like a new and interesting challenge. :)
