Also you have to make more consistent molten iron thing.. I mean it appear to be brighter at day in direct sun light, than at night. It also appears to be tinted by sun light.
It is kind of double wrong. First of all molten iron should appear brighter at night view and pretty dim at day. But at the same time it probably should be affected/tinted by sunlight.

Might pay to read the text as well, while a picture can tell a thousand words sometimes words help:

(you probably notice that the night is brighter than in the other pictures thats my blame, I used in chrisadams bat4max the maxis night mode but this mode seems to be darker than the original maxis night. As of now I gonna use the day/night mode for creating night previews, this modes makes the night-preview looking in the same way it will look ingame ;) )

Just checked your thread at Simforum.de (I don't have an account there, so I post here :P) and I really love the new things you made! I especially love the coal docks, the crane on it looks really cool &apls

Sam Johnson

thanks tag_one  :)

In the last weeks and days I created some smaller additions for the steel mill project, finally I gonna show them here, too ;)

Here is a crane for loading and unloading coal, iron ore and other dry bulk

Then I battet a second casthouse for the blast furnace, this one offers no view to the inside, but It has a more eastern european/soviet/russian look I think :D

Then a tower for (more or less  $%Grinno$% )safety burning away of gases, I think it can be also used for other industrial areas like for example refineries.

And here a small facility for transfering the molten iron from the large torpedo cars to the smaller molten iron ladle cars which are better to manage inside other facilities.

And well something I started this week. A Basic Oygen Furnace:

You see this one isn't done, there's still a bit work to do. And the cyrillic logo is just thought for my own use :P I don't think everybody likes huge cyrillic logos in his cities :D

But The steel mill is a huge project, as you can probably imagine, so there's still a lot work to do, but i hope you like the current progress :)

Your BAT's are looking fantastic, Sam. After seven years, you're the first person to make a highly detailed, realistic steel mill. I can't wait to see it all lotted.

Peace,
Kevin

Sam Johnson

So during the sommer I had a break of batting. But now I did some new things  :)

At first I remade this small block from the first post

Then I made some small russian river ships, like they can be found on the huge rivers in russia or other former soviet countries.

And today I just finished a big (very luxurious  $%Grinno$% ) appartment block from moscow

I hope you like this new stuff  :)

io_bg

No, I don't like it, I love it! And I hope to see at least some of your work released ;D
