Those minimize buttons... probably one of the things that'll bug me in a picture for that competition. It's a simple thing to crop out, yet we all tend to leave it in here and there. It can be interesting too, to try to frame the picture so it looks right when the button is cropped out (unless you want to try to fill in the gap).

Nice trip down memory lane Robin, and perhaps an idea to try myself as well (you made me curious now). You have improved since 2007, but your love for the industrial areas remains clear throughout. The critique on the pictures is interesting too. I always like hearing what goes through someone's mind when they take a certain picture, or why they made an area the way they did. On a few pictures you actually nitpicked spots I had overlooked, like those two empty tiles on your August 10th entry. Something seemed odd about the picture, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it until you mentioned that.

Nice work on this update. It must've taken some time to put together. The results are well worth it though.

Nice to see all those old HoF pictures and your critique of your own work.  Thanks for sharing your thoughts, it was a really interesting read!

To all members out there that are unsure of thier work ingame and don't enter the SC4D Picture Competition, please read over this post.

I hope to hear from a lot of members that are in the circumstance or at least to see some members that have never entered a pic into the SC4D Picture Competition do so.

That's it for now,
Robin

Thanks for the inspiration.  It's very encouraging!

Wow a really nice recap, I must have taken time to pic up all those pictures again  :)
But am I right? I somehow see 2 times a 16th entry there. Once at November 13, 2007 and once at November 15, 2007  ;D

However I guess this was my first post here, I just wonder why, 'cause I really enjoy reading your MD

A great looking image The water edge is maybe not quite doing what it should, but the overall look is very good. I must admit I have never used much of these plopable rocks and have no idea how complicated it may be to combine with game water.

:satisfied: yup great stuff as always Mr Robin ;-)

I am in need of some extra eyes this morning.
I am looking for a 90 degree wall set, similiar to BuddyBud's.  I know I have seen a really nice one out there but I can't seem to find the right key words to search.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Robin

@ Rooker1,

Not sure what you mean here. Are you after a set of retaining walls that have a similar texture to Buddybud's? And if so, which ones, the grey concrete ones or the rural highway set?

rooker1

I'm looking for a set of walls that have a 90 degree wall and cover the slope like BuddyBud's.  The suggested set does not need to have the same textures.  I know I have seen a few, but I can not remember where and I have had no luck searching with the obvious key words.

Robin  :)
