Kwakelaar   Indeed! The inspiration for Monkey Island is 'Monkey Boy', who insists he is now too old to be called that in public. Of course, I still do it though. Once a monkey, always a monkey!

Bat    Danke! I am always glad to have you come by and I am pleased you liked the last few updates here.

Update #60

Can you believe I actually could find enough monkey stuff to make this last 60 updates so far?!

This update is brought to you live from fabulous Chateau Schulman!

Here's some pictures of what's going on in Monkey Island today...

Traffic is light today on the Banana Peel Bridge.

Many simian residents are at the Australopithecus State University campus today for a rally. The theme – opposing opposable thumbs. Who needs opposable thumbs, anyway?

The first step to attend the rally is to leave the house.

You can travel by car...

You can travel by boat...

You can travel by train...

You can even travel by pachyderm...

BUT...

BE THERE! Join us at the rally!

Wildlife

Monkey Island is getting wilder! The new Charles Darwin National Park is opening for business today. Let's see what's in store for nature lovers.

First, the park includes thousands of acres of the lush Monkey Mountains.

It's not all elevated; there are plenty of wet and marshy areas too.

And there are plenty of critters too.

So why not plan your trip to the new park sometime soon?

Excellent marsh you have created there Bruce. It looks so......marshy. The Charles Darwin National Park is a great idea. You've got a little bit of Jumanji going on over there I think.
