Fantastic!  I like the farms in this update!

noahclem

Just beautiful railroads  :o  The coastal routes are my favorite. You do a really good job with your transportation networks in general. What did you do to the sides of that OWR-3 in the previous update in the picture labeled "Dà ālì"? Looks great whatever it is. I'll let you know if I can figure out what the deal is with bridge shadows that I mentioned earlier...

Tomas Neto

Awesome suburbs, city, farms and railroads!!! Nice pictures, great update!!!

Heyho and welcome to the fourtyfirst update of my CJ Dragon Islands.

Too much dense citiy pics in the last updates, time for some countryside. Today we will follow a small line that connects two mit sized towns with one another, the twentyfive minutes train trip starts at Ying Yà and leads us to the already known station of Shí zai lóng yàn.

Ying Yà, here we go....
1

The city has had it's best time years ago when DI still was a cheap land to produce minor quality products for western concerns, things like cloths, cheap steel, plastic....

After the express train to shì shuixì stopped at the station our small train fills with some people, mostly workers that come from the industrial areas near the airport to the north.

12:00, we leave the station.
2

Left homes are a very common scenery at this city...
3

Our first stop is a small station that does not even have an over or underpass for passengers, it needs to be renovated but the city has no money to doo so.
4

5

Now we're going to head over a bridge.
6

The road to the right of the train is the A3, sometimes a motorway, sometimes not.
7

The road to the left of our train is a small country road that will run paralelle to the tracks for some time.
8

9

Now our train leaves the main line, heading east to it's next destination Xiao haitàn.
10

11

12

Overview over the village.
13

14

15

The pipes in the last picture belong to a small hydroelectric dam.
16

One direction of the motorway A3 uses the dam for it's a bit strange way through the mountains.

The pipes run down at the north side of the hill
17

And that's the small generator house....
18

Meanwhile out train has reached Sònglin, punctual at 12:15.
19

20

21

22

Our train reaches the first station of Shì za long yàn.
23

The rail line divides suburban area and forest.
24

Another small stop.
25

The tracks coming from the left lead to a small station at some industries and is served at the change of the worker's shift there.
26

The last small stop.
27

Meeting the main line again.
28

Approaching at our final destination, punctual at 12:25.
29

And as a conclusion of this update, A routemap of Songlín line.

This MD deserves all the honors received and more.  Fantastic work, my friend!  In particular, it is great to see those STR lines snaking through both city and countryside.  The only thing missing in those shots of trains rolling through those wide curves is superelevation, and that's clearly beyond anyone's capabilities to add.

A keeper, that's for sure.  Great work!
