Heyho and welcome to the fourtyfith update of my CJ Dragon Islands.

Today another interrouption on my round around DI because I wanted to make something "new".

Today I will show you a couple of pics of a small rail line located on an island to the northeast of Shì Luna. Dàzhú rail Cooperation has had big financial troubles in it's past but for already two years the line does not even need support by the state anymore.

Two of the three refurbished Kiha31 (New modern looking front, new doors etc.) that represent the whole rolling stock in frequent use of the rail cooperation. This pair makes it's way to the main station of Dàzhú, they transfer some workers to their ferry, also some rail fans today.
01

Fans and fanatics of steam locomotives solved the financial troubles, more and more steam locomotives are carried to the island for some fan rides.

And we will follow one of theese trains buildt in a age where the term  particulate filter did not exist :D

The old engine is carried out of the depot long before the first passengers arrive...
02

The plattform of the steam train gets filled after the arrival of the ferry and the ordinary train.

Let's startup...

But we won't take the track to this city, we will stay at the "main line" and turn right into the valley that devides the two main mountains of the island.

Stupendous work! Never commented yet but you're doing a great job. Simfox's trees add a peculiar atmosphere to the city. It's great.  ;D
Keep it up.  :thumbsup:

Beautiful update again!  &apls  Really nice seeing the vintage locomotive on DI's beautiful rails  :thumbsup:

I here you reference the topography and different cities in DI here frequently and I see train station maps but it would be fun to see a general map of the region at some point  :)

@peter007: That's a selfmade skin ;)
@Terring: Due it's a tourist service: no. The "normal" rail traffic uses diesel trains like the one shown at the first pic of the last update.
@nbvc: Thank you :)
@marsh: Thanks a lot for your nice comment!
@noahclem: the programms used for normal region screenshots do not work correctly because some cities use chineese letters in their names so they appear as black spots on theese region screens. But okay, I look if I can puzzle a region view from screenshots together sometimes :)
@penguin007: Thanks a lot =)
@louistw: Thank you :)
@Tomas Neto: Thank you too!

Heyho and welcome to the fourtysixth entry of my CJ Dragon islands and the second part of our steam train ride from Dàzhú to Yánshí Hàitan.

The second part starts where the first one endet, at Lóng zhi gu. The train leaves the old colonial station...

Theese fields seem somehow over - flooded, no rice plant anywhere...

U47 - "Around Dàzhú"

This update will be the first of three smaller updates due I have not got the time to play SC4 that much in the last time. Due I don't want to shorten the quality of the oichs I have to shorten their quantity.

Today we will take a closer look onto the city Dàzhú and it's sourroundings.

The small city itself is located on the northern part of a small island in the east of the region Dragon Islands. The town has a small industrial area (Some fish industry and some chemical industry) most of the people wort in a big industrial area across the waters.
01

The habour is the town's center.
02

The old castle tells about a rich past....
03

The city's chemical plant and it's port station. (the fish fabric is located to it's left from road perspective)
04

I like this place, it's located at the end of the half island that does protect the habour very well.
05

Now we're gonna follow one of the two roads that lead out of the small town. It leads through a small valley into a deep forest.
06

And shows us the way to the next two villages.
07

08

09

10

11

The last pic shows Dàzhú zoomed out. Steep hill angles prevent the town from growing up the hills or whiden itself in another way.
12

I hope you've enjoined this update, greetings, Skimbo =)
