Trolleyman, I would of replied sooner, had I been able to connect, but I have done that type of thing what the 3 Stooges said. However, when loading existing cities that are built up, I do not advise saving in that region for testing purposes.

For future reference, when you want to do

this, get rid of the words: v.php?p=

I got some questions for you, but can not advise a course of action. Whats in that center turn lane folder? I also noticed you have a euro texture mod, and a different texture mod, I thought I saw some T21 folder. Your icons in-game do not appear to duplicate. I think we can rule out the same file repeated, it may be an older one tucked away. Again, the only real thing you can do is what 3 Stooges said. Dat files is really your only concern.

sry been busy at work in my center turn lane file is tla_center_arrows_rh and tla_center_arrows_zc both are dat files

Oh, okay, I think those should be okay, as they are just cosmetic. The only other thing from what I can see is to look where SC4 is installed, and make sure there are no duplicate NAM files in thsoe plugins folder.

i looked in my C:program files in maxis and in simcity4 and in plugins no nam files in there only thing i got in transportation type is bridge hieght low&suspen.dat file i also have the Somcity 4 extra Cheat in there THL_Depth_Undergr .dat file then i got the landmarks in there  ()what() so fustrated cause no got issue with it CTD if i zoom in or left click to move screen can i move my plugin folder to another loct. delete simcity then reinstall then add plugins back one at a time i'm using a dell with intel(r) Celeron(r) CPU 420@1.60GHz  1.60GHz 2.00Gb (RAM) 32-bit Operating Sys. besides getting a better system i'm lost

You can do that.

The NAM should be in your documents/sc4/plugins
not programfiles/maxis etc.

Full re-install takes a lot of time. Furthering what MTG said, I am wondering if that bridge height file was a prime example of transportation conflict not getting along with the NAM bridge control system. However, any Maxis installed landmarks you should not mess around with. When the game does not find something it needs in terms of the SC4 install directory.

wondering if i move plugin folder to say my doc... folder and move program plugin folder to say doc folder with new name of course reinstall simcity4 upgrade then then add program plugins back in then one by one my doc plug in folder if i would find the proplem child that way

I recommend that route, and I hope you catch that suspect and it works out. Plenty of times, I have had to move stuff around myself.

Is your computer a laptop? My laptop (which I use at work) has Simcity on it (hotel room entertainment when traveling). It's a Dell, w/intel CPU @ 1.66, and 1G of ram. Sure it runs Simcity. Barely. So I maintain a very skimpy plugin folder. My desktop is more capable and the game runs smooth with large a plugin folder. Also - a good video card will make a big difference too.

Obviously it's your computer and you know what you've done/installed/etc and I don't. It seems to me that starting fresh is a good idea. Then add things back in according to the order of importance to you slowly. Until you notice performance problems. And go from there.

Good Luck

- Jim

BTW - you don't have to answer the 'laptop' question. the point I'm making is that I have a computer that is similar and I'm not surprised that you're having some difficulty.
