Rooker1 just turned me on to this thread. I don't care what game your talking about NOTHING can touch the visuals in your thread here. Talking about turning a game in to an artistic palette and applying it with both style and elegance! Keep up the good work!

Good luck with what's going on in life, and I only have one word for that retrospective video: Amazing!

Ol.S / Benoit

Thanks for that video, it was a nice trip through years of creativity ! :)
Also, as I'm quite new here, it was nice to discover pictures I never saw.

Good luck with your project, which seems to be quite exiting ! When you'll be settled in, I'm sure you'll enjoy even more getting back to your favorite hobby  ;)
If you want to, and I'll also enjoy to see that, you can post some pictures of your new warehouse ! :)

Anyway, see you soon !
Benoit.

Hi my friends , how are you ?  ;)

Time to give you some news . Personal ones first : the restoration works for my new home are longer and harder (and more expensive ... ) than I thought ! What's done is done ... there's always a part of unconsciousness when we start something like that , or we would probably never start .  $%Grinno$% ... The move is planned for the 12th of  March , works finished or not , so I'm still overwhelmed by tasks to do , :-[ , but I've found a hour or two here and there for my favorite hobby . First , I've downloaded then tested new stuffs like Lowkee33's Terrain Mod ( Absolutely  fabulous ! ) , nbvc's Logging MMPs ( Indispensable ! Even if I've resized the Models with SC4MT , factor 0.8 applied ) and Jmyers' latest rural props pack ( Just perfect props like they're !) ... It has been really exciting to see how these novelties have improved once more the general quality of Champclause . At the same time I've continued to improve my personal flora MMPs collection ( Re-sizing models , re-modding properties and making them all seasonal ... ) so I'm finally able to present you a few pictures about what will be the new lanscaping standard here ...

Overview :

Closer pics :

I didn't have time to change  tags of all these honeypots but trust me , they come from Champclause where honey ( from pines or thousands of flowers ) is particularly tasty and reputed !  :P

Whatever the time it will take , I do not despair of enrich even more  these scenes and then apply this new standard everywhere .  ;D

***********************************

Well , I don't know when I'll be back but surely not as soon as I would like to ! During the move for my new home , I'll lose my
Internet connection  ; for a few days in the best case , 2 or 3 weeks in the worst case . To expect the worst is never disappointing ...  :D

Thanks for your previous comments , I've got no time for personal and detailed replies but I need to say that I've been particularly touched by mrbisonm and buddybud's ones ... two legendary names  ::) , thank you so much ,  guys .

I've also received several private messages , some of them need immediat replies :

oczomajster ; the glass roof ( bus station ) is from APTX 8590 . His site has been shut down since a long time unfortunately ... I know that most of his BATs have been converted to prop packs available on the LEX , but I didn't  download them so I don't know if that building examplar has been converted  to a prop and then integrated in one of these packs ... I've got no other model in mind to suggest you , but good luck with your railway station project . :)

clemenclm2001 ; the concert scene has been photoshoped for the red color indeed , but the lights are animated ones from the game ( props named Aspotlight4x8x4_spotlightanim and  ARW1x1x1_spotlight_prison) Good luck with your project ( reminds me Funtasia indeed ) , I'll have a closer look in the future at what you're doing ...

nemusd ; I don't see precisely which ped malls you're speaking about , but yes , all you can see from me here and at The Triumphal Way  are personal LOTs . I do not understand either what is your problem about LotEditing of seasonal trees but for LOTs like these ones ( not destined to grow ) you can surely add trees by using seasonal MMPs on them like I did on the last picture visible at The Triumphal Way Project with Orange_o_'s ploppable Aesculus . Good luck , I'll try to be more helpful in the future if you need it ...  :)

I'll keep on to follow my favorites threads and MDs at a distance , well , no need to list them , you know which they're ... I'm really sorry to do not have more time to spend with you and to comment what I've seen lately , it's all the more unfortunate that I've been highly impressed . Who said that old game is dying !?! ...  $%Grinno$%

Last note ; I've had to take out a subscription to an Imageshack Premium account , to avoid to see 3200 from 3700 of my SC4 related pictures ( almost all posted here ...) deleted . On one hand , I found the process rather strange ( like a blackmail ... ) , on the other hand I did always wonder how a free unlimited storage with unlimited bandwidth was possible ... after all , 2$ ( 1€ 56 ) per month , that's quite acceptable . In any  case , 3/4 of AntigOne's pictures  would have been lost , and that isn't acceptable ...

Take care and thanks for you visit . Bye .  :)

Cédric.

Hi Cedric,

I'm glad to here that your move goes on. Plans are called plans because they are always ment to be changed  ;D I hope you'll manage to get everything set as good as possible until the middle of march :)

As the circumstances are as they are it is even more impressive that you're still able to present such beautiful pictures :) What a brilliant idea to create that tree nursery ...

Well, I wish you all the best until your return,
Theresa

Girafe

Glad to see you my dear guinea fowl  ::)

Pictures are awesome as usual. Lowkee's terrain mod gives to Champclause another dimension.

You dug the dropbox to find my old poles ^^

Idea of forestry and beehives are excellent  &apls &apls

For the problem of hosting pictures, maybe you could try to host in the dropbox which is maybe more safety and free even if the price of a premium account is not so expensive.

Hope to see you soon, your lovely girafe

Stunning pictures once again. The terrain mod works perfectly with the ploppable plants. But I liked the old one, too. The more intense colors lokked very nice in your setting.

really amazing what You've done out of the new MMP's and MOD's  &apls . But I noticed, that the cows are fleeing away. I hope, the rock with the cross on it is not Solutré. This would mean a bad end for these poor animals   ()sad()
Good luck for Your works on Your new apartment. I hope for You to get finished at time. %%Order?/  (and don't hit Your fingers  ;) )

More wonderful pictures  &apls &apls  I'm glad you're having fun with all the new stuff!

Good luck with the move and remodeling!

Jmouse

Once again, you have taken realism to new heights, Cédric. The detail work is stunning, but I think you already know that. You wouldn't post anything here you weren't completely satisfied with. I, too, switched to Carl's new terrain mod, and it's a winner for sure. I'll be back to take a much longer look at these photos when I have more time.

Best of luck with your remodeling project and upcoming move. When the dust settles, I'm sure you'll be glad you did what you did, and I know you'll be glad it's finished! ;)

A new wonderful demonstration that this game isn't ready to die!
But how many hundreds of hours has it taken to achieve this?

Best, Sam.

Amazing pictures!! &apls &apls
I really like the small small river and the small place with the calm water. Fits very well with the rocks.
Also great details with the pine plantation and the bee hives.

Your new landscaping standard looks amazing.  Love how everything looks!  I'm particularly interested in those logging scenes.  Are any of those items available to the public yet?

Hope moving goes well!  Looking forward to the next update!

Some works of imitation ...

Thanks for your comments and wishes ; the move to my new home is done ! I'll need most probably a week or two to reinstall everything before to have again more time to spend with you here , my dear friends , but I couldn't resist to use my brand new Internet connection to post these pictures ; most of them are Zoom 6 views and none of them contains any MAXIS original content ( and , I'm sorry MAXIS , I don't intend to wait for another decade to be able to do this again with the next Simcity ...  :P  ) .

Greetings !

Cédric .
