That's a nice terrain mod. I am going to try it tonight!

Lowkee33

That was a texture I found by searching "grass textures" in google.  Then I put it into SC4 real quick, so it wont be found in a terrain mod.

Terring7

The new version is better than the yellow one ;D . However if i were you, i would made it really green! ;D

Surreal? Yes, but it will make the industrial district more beautiful :)

Oh, because of Orange_o_'s reply I thought this was a picture form the PyreneanTerrainMod.
I did not have time to try it out, so I didn't see that myself. Maybe this mod is nice anyway.

Orange_o_

I'm sorry but this texture is in the PyreneanMod  $%Grinno$%

T Wrecks Thanks. And yes all my buildings go through PIM-X nowadays. I fully trust in Tage's and Stephane's knowledge :D

Whoa, that's really scary... you know, I mod everything by hand before I add it to my plugins. During this process, I plop the building into a test city and decide on occupant numbers "manually". The rest of the values are adapted to my trusty old stats table, but in case of bigger buildings I often lack reference values to wedge the new download between. In such situations, I come up with stats by rule of thumb. So I did. When I opened the file to enter the changes, I found out that the current stats were almost 100% identical to those I was about to enter! :o Looks like I agreed with Tage and Stephane perfectly in this case.  ;D

pfffff, blows away the dense layer off dust settled in this thread. It's looks desolate and decayed, but it's still there... okey the windows are blown out and there are spider webs everywhere. But I'll keep faith. Soon this place will be filled with life again :)

I know I've been away for too long and many things happened in the past 2 years. I've been in a severe depression and had some serious real life issues to sort out. Unfortunately not everyone has the empathy to understand that, which resulted in bigger pain and frustration. Resulting in a deeper depression and a feeling of less self worth and so on. Including some very close friends that led me down. Kind of a vicious circle leading to self destruction. I kind of turned the tide and now I tried to get back to my life and pick up the good things I neglected here. I've got my own apartment, my own car, I work out in the gym, have dates and... have 3DS Max open on my pc... So I'm back, sort of, yeah I guess I'm back. I'm modeling again. One is already on the lex, the other one is pending and I've got a lot of things I want to make :)

One of them is in the picture below. I'll let you guess what it is... Hint: it's industry (duh), huge (!) and will take some time to finish :)

Have fun guessing :p

Hi Merijn,

Welcome back! I was wondering already where you had been all those months... I wish you all sorts of luck an fun. And we all here are certainly interested in your next product!

mike3775

Welcome back.  Its always nice to see great batters return to the game and continue to make awesome buildings.

As far as your real life issues goes, at least you now know who your true friends are in life, which is never a good thing to find out about when you need them, but at least now you know who is a true friend and who isn't, and I wish you nothing but the best.

art128

Welcome back, Merijn. That's great to have you back on track. :)

Depression is never a good thing. My best friend did many of them since he was little, the most recent one " went away " because I was here he said. Real life can really be a pain in the a** sometime, when it just start to go down and attract you with it down the path. The first half of the summer wasn't good for me, but thankfully for my close friends, and the community here I was able to stay up and don't do anything stupid.

Your latest upload on the LEX was great, really liked it. As for the new one, I would like to try a guess, but the picture doesn't want to load on my computer. I guess I'll have to wait for the first pictures. :)
I'll take a quiet life... A handshake of carbon monoxide.

Wow, that building is probably structurally unsafe with all those vines growing into the brickwork.  Those vines would do some serious damage to the mortar.  I've actually seen a building's brick facade come crashing down from stuff like that.  ()sad()

Welcome back tag_one.  Sorry to hear of the bad things, but glad you are getting stuff sorted out and hope things go better for you in the future.

tag_one

Hi all! Thank you all for the warm welcome!! :) Glad you all look forward to this project! I can safely say that this, by size, is going to be one of my biggest, if not my biggest industrial building :D This part of the project is gonna be 6x6 tiles ;) Here's the latest update:

And no, I'm not going to confirm what it is, not yet  $%Grinno$%
