You're welcome BB.  I'm glad they're useful to you.  On another note, I've updated Rayden Transfer.  Since sc4jeeks  parking lot textures were updated, to fix a conflict with the id #'s, the one's I used from his old pack are now gone.  Cheers!

jestarr

Thanks Marc, and the window texture isn't; it's just a default gmax color. ;D  I had a little time earlier, so I finished the walls, windows, trim, etc.  Now it's time to start thinking about roof stuff. :P  Here's a test render status pic for your viewing pleasure. :D  Cheers!

I realised what I miss most about this forced period of inactivity, getting to see and test your new works first. It  has your stamp of excellence, and as usual, much needed in the game. Wish I could get back into this quickly. See you soon...David G

That looks great, really excellent texturing.  The white/cream over red brick is very effective.

That's a large area of roof for an old building; the centre of the building will be really dark.  Are you planning to give it inner lightwells or skylights or something else to bring light into the middle of the building?

i have a suggestion: rich homes had glass roof so it might look nice in your building if you deployed one.

great work.

That looks amazing.
I wish I had pictures of the building I use to live in, in Toronto.  This looks exactly like it.  There was the basement apartment and five floors above.  The building was divided in half and each half was an apartment, two apartments per floor.  There was only widows on the front, side and back, just like yours.  The roof doesn't need much stuff, I think.  Maybe, just an old, dirty stone texture with exhaust pipes sticking out the roof.
If I could suggest one more thing......could you move the building over as far you can to one side and add a small driveway on the opposite side to get to some car ports or parking spots in the back?
I remember driving down the narrow alleyway to my parking spot and if I were to turn just a little too much my mirror would scrap along the wall.  Never happened, good thing.
Awesome work.

I'll see what I can do, Robin. ;)  OK, here's a test render pic of the third building for the Owosso beet sugar plant.  The ground and rail aren't part of the model.  They're just there for effect.  All three buildings are pretty much done, except for roof junk and a few tweaks, here and there. :D  Cheers!

Looking great, jestarr. The real question is "what's next"?

Cheers,

Thanks for all your kind comments folks.  As always, they're greatly appreciated.  OK, it's been a couple of days, so I took a snap of my latest test render, just to let you see I'm still working on this.  I only had a few minutes, but I placed the rear steps, added a bit of roof junk and removed the rear door (I wasn't really feeling the one that was there :D).  The thing in the middle of the roof is a placeholder for a skylight.  As usual, the ground and sidewalks are only for visual effect.  They aren't part of the model.  Cheers!

Bluebeard

Perfect on the Roof Junk.Looking foward to seeing the Skylight.Thanx for the update.

bat

Yes, very nice looking roof so far!
And great building(s).

I had a little time for the BAT, and I felt I was neglecting it, so I started on the Owosso main building's roof junk.  I've been adding, removing and shuffling stuff around.  Some I like; some I don't, but the stuff I don't like will probably find it's way onto another building eventually. :D  Still a lot to do on this set of buildings, model wise, and then there's the lotting, so it'll be a bit before it's done.  Cheers!

Krio

This looks very nice, but the roof looks too new for "old" factory.
