Nice use of that Y-stack!  I like the shopping malls and big box stores too!

One tiny suggestion for you though:  Your 45 degree road curves are actually 90 degree turns with another 45 degree turn added to that!  If you created one curve instead, it would make your pictures look a lot better.

Just my two cents.  Keep up the great work!

There are many wealthy monkeys living in Monkey Island. But, not many shops have been able to capitalize on all of this fabulous wealth to spur the economy to new heights. That is, until now. Yellow Hat Realty of Monkey Island has unveiled the grandest shopping destination yet! Gilded Banana promises to be the most exciting retail destination in the nation. It features deluxe grounds, top line stores and luxury hotels and resorts. It's a self-contained urban paradise. Let's see what it has to offer.


The lavish entrance heralds the arrival of a new level of retail. The Concierge Mansion at the right as you enter provides many services, including complimentary banana tea whilst you have your lice removed (with gold plated tweezers).

Customers come first in the design of the center.



Customers can drive through the property, walk, or swing from the many convenient overhead walkways.



This place is so upscale, the fountains shoot banana extract and not water!

Convenient vendors offer bananas, grubs on a stick and termite stir fry to customers who swing, walk or drive by the outdoor food court.


Go ahead and savor the aroma. But, honey, that aint barbecue you're smellin'!



The aroma must be so good it's distracting. Two fender benders right outside of the food court. I see Bengt's pink car (with Qaddrian license plates) is safely driving away.

I don't know about you, but I am eager to stop by the Grape Ape Hotel to see the Professional Banana Peelers Convention. They have a peeling contest in the George Room at 3 PM. I hear the winner last year peeled 163 bananas in one minute!


Will anyone be able to unseat Tarzana in the championship? We'll see...

Before I go, I must get some elegant attire for this formal occasion. A trip to Chez Singe is in order.




I'd like a black tie tuxedo, with prehensile tail hole. And a matching top hat.

For shoes, I will try the Shoe District, featuring shoppes from such notables as Bananacchio, B. A. Boone & Company and of course Ape-instock Sandals.
