A realistic looking prison. Very nice! You don't see that too often in this game.

Beautiful detail in the prison shots Rayden.
I loved you last mosaic. I notice you used the sweeping rail curves a few times.
Thats about the best use of those I've seen yet.

Zaphod

I love your industrial areas, they look so realistic and free of ugly maxis industies

I noticed you found mk's convenience stores. I love those things. They are great 1*1 fillers and can really soak up CS demand with some modding

Great pictures and update! Fantastic work!

Great update.  I like how you use your buildings with a good number of parking lots.  May sound kind of dumb, but I think it adds to the realism.  Everything looks perfectly placed, great job.

It's probably because in summer, sometimes I spend half-hour going around to find a place for my car when going to work or back home. ;)

rooker1

Yah, I know what you mean, it sound like down town Toronto where I use to live.  Finding parking is sometimes impossible or very expensive.
Call me Robin, please.

Thx Colyn, I'll keep an eye on the BSC Shosaloza place and all the other Shosaloza Experiments, including yours of course. ;)

@Jeronij - Muchissimas gracias amigo

@Everyone - Specially for the ones that have never stepped into this MD, it has been running for quite a while as part of an experiment in the BSC part of the forum. Together with this, several others were started. It's worth having a look at them, very great stuff in there, some of them with unique and yet unreleased content. You can find that thread in here.

About mine, from now on, it will be shown in here as a regular MD. Thanks to all BSC members for letting me and other non-BSC members to participate on that experiment.  &apls

I'll leave you this random shot and go to prepare a proper update ;)

A side note, since Barbye has achieved the goal of this experiment, looks like most of the people have abandon or lost interest on their own experiments. For me, this has been more than an experiment, and if I will still look for that goal, that won't be my primary one. There is still a lot of terrain to develop and it will take a while until I finish it. But, being this the BSC thread, I've noticed that not many people come over here, or have even noticed that there is some real gems over here.
Being so, I would like a mod or an admin to move this thread to the Mayors Diary as I will continue to play it, and where I would certainly have a most wider audience. I need it, so I don't loose interest and keep playing this beautiful map.

Thanks in advance
Silvio (aka Rayden)

This explains a lot.  No wonder I couldn't find it, never thought of going to the BSC forum.  And by the time I thought to click on the link, well...

Glad it's over here now.  Just finished with the whole thing and I'm rather full and sleepy.  It's just too much of a good thing all at once.  In a wonderful way.

Well, it's with great satisfaction that I see that my MD had more views in the last couple of hours, than during all week, "buried" where it was. I'm really glad I decided to bring it over here. Anyway, even seeing that people hang in here a lot more than anywhere else in this forum, I want to tell all of you, that along with this MD, others were, even greater than mine. There is a lot of good "MDs" at the BSC thread, right here.

Now, and with no more chit-chat, here's the update (beware, heavy image update (nearly 30 images)

First lets have a look at the region grid to find the place where I am now, quad B2, and from where this update was taken.

Here is an overview of the region as it is now. Click the thumbnail image to see a larger one.

Now some random shots...

The usual "small" mosaic...  $%Grinno$%

... and to finish, a little "candy"  ;D

Now tell me, isn't this a proper update? $%Grinno$%

That's all for now. I'll come back tomorrow for some personal replies and maybe another "small update" :D

Well, seeing you asked nicely...."it's not a proper update" :D (Joke, btw)

Seriously fantastic mosaic and images, and glad to see that you are still enjoying this amazing map! Loved evry bit of it. &apls

Yep, I'd say that's a proper update.  More to the point, I'd simply say it's amazing.

BTW, I think that the mall you showed in the second pic is the first time I've ever seen anyone use that lot.  The third pic, too, is an amazing use of custom content.

Can't wait to see more!

EDIT - Okay, I looked at the last pic, and it freaked me out when it went from daytime to night... but after I realized that was meant to be like that....
You're telling me I get to be home for more than 12 months?

dedgren

What, no stars?

...I got 5 or so around here somewhere...

There, that's better.

. . .

Nice "little" mosaic, Silvio.  Of course, I'm sure you're just showing us the good stuff in the first...ummm, eight pages, and this will go back to being ordinary very soon...NOT!

Outstanding work! That mosaic is beautiful, I don't know how you do it without the seams between pictures. Great job!
