History:
The Beyen dam was built in the years 1950-1953 in its present form, and put into operation in 1954. The dam enlarged so that the already built in 1898-1900 "balancing pond Beyen" of his job as a flood protection system could not adequately meet. The Beyen reservoir is now a popular recreation area that is visited by anglers, walkers, boat dwelles and water sportsman. At the same time, the dam serves as a swim-lake in the summer months. In addition, a small hydroelectric plant generates electricity. His turbine is designed for flow rates of 6.5 m³ / s.

On shore there are the clubhouses of several successful sculling clubs: Brixham Sculling Club(BSC) and the Aviron Club Beyen(ASC).

Spectacular work Framly  &apls &apls &apls  The reservoir and its surroundings are constructed so perfectly and creatively. I especially love the big mosaic of the whole reservoir.

It's really great that you continue to improve your SimCity skills, even after getting to such an advanced level. I can't wait to see more of what's next!
