Great update once again, Silvio, and lovely teaser too. I really love the second picture of the teaser with the lights and the rugby field.

What a gorgeous set of updates :)

The teaser speaks for itself, but the update before that has a little bit of everything: a great ploppable lake, some rails, rural areas, and also suburban areas. Great stuff!

Great update and teaser!  &apls  I agree with Robin that the house by the lake looks very nice--perhaps it's reserved for the mayor?  :D  The rails look very nice as well, especially with Sanye/Fanta's freight mod and giraffe's new passenger train skin. Your rural areas with MMPs are very well done and that's a really unique image manipulation with the super-blue ploppable water. Industry and farms are also great.

If I can make one small suggestion, I think your RHW would look a bit nicer with merging lanes (type-C or -D ramps), though you've got a great system as-is. Speaking of suggestions, thanks for the view of the new wide-radius rail layout!

Looking forward to more

rooker1, noahclem, bat,  - Bull's Eye, that's exactly my house ;) About two years ago, when I was playing Shosaloza, I decided to lot a new Mayor's House that would fit the rural area. It started as being a normal house, but with the help and suggestions of the guys at BSC it turned out as it is now. It's a proper functional reward, that complements the Mayor's House set, and doesn't replace the Maxis one. The Maxis one appears at 500 inhabitants in the city, and this one when it reaches 1000 and you need also to be rated +40.
I kept changing and adding some little stuff like the peer, thanks to Cris Adams who bat it, and then I add the boat and two of my cars set. Both the boat and the cars are timed to give a little life to the lot. I did it first to my own use, but as there was some interest on it, I finally decided to release it - It's now on the LEX here
I hope everyone enjoys it.
About the next update, it's going to take a while, perhaps during next weekend, as I am doing a couple of new lots to fit the current city, a huge rail-yard and surrounding residential neighborhood. I already start it twice and twice I trowed to the bin, it's very difficult to fit all the textures the way you like it :angrymore: I'm undecided between using the NCD textures or do custom ones. Let's see if I can get enough patient to build this lot. ;)

Thx guys
Silvio

Nice work on the city Silvio.  You're very good at getting the correct lot to grow.

Sorry for the lack of updates, but things are quite busy for me, high season over here. Also I have spent some time lotting a railyard and respective residence quarters. I'll have a proper update during the weekend. Here is a couple of images from what I have been doing.

Cheers

The rail yard looks very well done!  &apls  The blocks look very nice as well. No worries about the update timing--I'm about to hit our high season here and won't be able to be around quite as much as I'd like to be....  Look forward to the full update, hopefully this weekend

Silvio, this is one of the best railyard i've ever seen! I hope you'll release it to public! Also excellent work with this residential area my friend, I like it very much. Also, yeah the full season of Albufeira ? I know what it is!  :P

UPDATE 6

Thanks guys, time has been short but I managed to expand the city a little bit more. Actually I'm going to another tile and come back to this one later.
Here is a couple of images and mosaics

And a mosaic of the railyard I have been working on. Still haven't decided if I release it, as the dependencies are a massive list, despite almost everyone have them.

That's it for today. As usual, sugestions are welcome, as is all your comments ;)

Cheers

Edit: Forgot about this one, an overview of the region

io_bg

Growing all these same blocks must've taken a lot. But the final result is excellent!
The railyard looks cool, too. It's just that yellow crane that looks a bit too large :P
