Looking great TTC.     I'd be happy to take a stroll down that path.      I might even grab the tent and find a spot alone the trail to camp for the weekend.   Pehaps even a bit of fly fishing.

Glad to see you making beautiful regions. I love the river with all its flora. Nice terraformed region, also. I, too, am rebuilding my plugins folder. It's going to take awhile to get it to where it was, only better. I'm looking forward to more from you.

Yoman

Your river really reminds me of the Delaware on the New York Pennsylvanian border, very nice job!

EDGE4194

Derry- I never got a chance to see the "lost" region, but i am glad i get to watch this from the beginning. The river banks are beautiful. The attention to detail is great. I am looking forward to the next update

Snaper

You advance very very quickly, TTC ... It's particularly pretty, I like much the vegatation, and this bridge is fantastic, I love

Cheer TTC, it's wonderful  &apls

Personal replies.

Thundercrack83: Many thanks  It takes a while to do but its worth it ;)

Fred_Ginger: Thank you. Being a keen off road cyclist I try to create stuff I would like to travel through and why cant it be beautiful at the same time? Well the sims seem quite happy with it :D

Gaston: Thank you  I take it you noticed the path down to the river. It seems the locals know a thing or two - hmmm maybe the fishings good there eh?

patfirefgthr: Welcome back once again my friend. yep yours is just brewing right now ;D

glepet: Cheers mate  Starting from scratch is not fun  $%Grinno$%  but at least all the crud will be gone ::)

Yoman: Thank you for visiting. I have never been to the USA maybe someday but its
nice to hear that it does. I picture the local river where I grew up when I do my water features ;)

Edge4194: I hope you did now ;) Its good to have you here for the new TatTT. Its all in the details as they say and you noticed - thank you

Snaper: Its is always a pleasure to see you here mon ami  The rivers edges always seemed wrong without it and its nearly always the first thing i do when I start a tile that has game water in it ;)

Ok thats the pleasant part out of the way.

Now for some pics which I am sure you want to see. RL has been a bit hectic and I haven't played much but I wanted to try some mountain roads after seeing such good ones on here. Using one of the cheats (Ctrl+Shift+C gives you contour lines on your map in case you didn't know ;) ) So here we go with my mountain pass. You can see how steep the terrain is and just how the difficult it was to build on but the results are good I think.

Let me know eh?

The tile I am working on here is halfway down the left side of the region and I am sure you can work out which :D

With some vegetation added ;)

Sunrise from all points of the compass ::)

Sorry its not the much but it'll tide you over ;)

Oh by the way This fish? was washed on the shores of the river. Anybody know what it is?

YOur winding road is just adorable... I love it to watch these. Being a true Dutchman the idea to drive there does make me break out in a cold sweat... and if you'll have those fishes in the sea overthere, I'm sure I'll never go down to that seafront anyhow  $%Grinno$%

I love that mountain road! That's one of my favorite pastimes in SC4 - developing roads and rail over mountains. Weird, ain't it?
That fish has got to be a joke! Doesn't it?

EDGE4194

wow- that's a scary drive, especially when you're looking at the beautiful scenery! Nice job on the trees and wildflowers
BTW what water mod are you using?

Gaston

Fantastic stuff, TTC.   Okay you remember I said I wanted to go fly fishing?     I have to get my armored waders repaired so I'll have to pass for now.      ::)

Fantastic update, TTC! Great pictures of that mountain!

Fred_Ginger

TTC, that road reminds me so very much of what use to be state route 40 which wound through the Sierras here in California on the way to Lake Tahoe.  &apls &apls &apls There were 1&1/2 to 2 foot thick rock walls on the down hill side and Dad would always stop at one of the scenic view areas so we could look out over the valley at the incredible views and the road  (and let the car cool down)!  Unfortunately those roads are gone now as they were deemed to dangerous and slow so they were replaced with a nice boring freeway (  )

As for that fish, are you sure it's not a hoax?  It looks prehistoric!  we need an Ichthyologist! &idea

Is this statue somewhere in the Northwoods?  I've been through Rhinelander quite a few times and I must have missed it!  (I live in Plover now, but used to head through Rhinelander on my way to Michigan Tech my first year of school!)

Got your cuppa? Sitting comfortably? Then we'll begin this update.

Welcome once again. Thank you all for your replies.

Sebes: How nice to see you here again. Thank you. Its made possible by Jeroni's version of the BRF slope mod. Hmm that fish  ()what()  I do hope its one of a kind!

Ennedi: Welcome back. I like yours sure is a good sign for a pub, where you could tell a fishy tale or two about the one that didn't get away :)

thundercrack 83: Cheers mate.  It was a bit hairy at times building it.
(5 saves and restart of the tile :) )

Patfirefghtr: Yo welcome back dude. I'm sure he's hiding out in the woods somewhere. Just wouldn't want bump into him at night  :D

@all - If you have a home town critter your more than welcome to show it off here - i may even make a space for it someplace.;) ( just keep 'em small if you don't mind)

Glepet: Cheers mate! Nope  $%Grinno$%  Not weird at all we all find what we are best at with this great game. Fish - joke - Hmmm dunno  ;)

Edge : try it on a bicycle - be much more fun :). thank you and as for the water mod its by MayorBean - Ocean river MOD V1.1Final it has 3 version inside I use the one numbered 669966. It looks pretty good especially with the underwater flora :)

Gaston: Thank you sir. Just stay on the bank instead   or if I saw that on the end of my line - I'd cut the line and tell everyone about the one that got away :)

Bat: Great to see you here again. thanks my friend for your comments ;)

Fred_Ginger: Thank you for such a great compliment. its great that what I did could evoke your memories. Its a shame to hear its been replaced by a highway - don't worry there's a protection order out on my road!
Fish - hmmm - See above (me not sure)

Snaper: Thank you very much. I am honoured you like it when I see what you do in your MD.

Cabrabuite: Welcome. I hope you stop by more often and that you like what you've seen so far.

A few pics for you in the way of a small update.

Pat you mentioned the possibility of a disaster - well it seems that is not the case. The Volcano which began showing signs of activity seems to have settled down a bit. A lot of the snow obviously melted due to the heat and we now have a nice little lake only at quite a high altitude. Is this an opportunity for commercialism to rear its ugly head?

I know its short but a quick update is better than none. I'm working on the tales and they shall be appearing when the time is right.

Tea Cat,

Sorry for posting and NOT commenting on your MD!  Looks like I've got a new update to comment on now though!!

I love the high altitude lake!  I've been backpacking in the Colorado back country and eaten lunch next to one of the highest altitude lakes (well, it was more like a high altitude pond, but...).  It was right after we crossed the continental divide at about 12500 ft... with our packs on... in a hail storm.  Great fun!

Thanks for helping me relive a great memory!!
