Great scenes! The mmping detailing is outstanding, though imho the bridge is a bit too urban for its environment. Or maybe the city is hiding just around the corner?!  ;)
In any case, the guesthouse looks like a nice place to stay indeed. Looking forward to more!

I love this chic bridge in the middle of the forest

Thank you all very much! I'll comment all your nice posts together with the next update on which I'm still working on. Due to real life building activities I have to decelerate a little bit :) Here are some pictures from my real life building site. Yesterday we had 20 cm of new snow ... so today I came across a situation that will hopefully never come back in future: 20 cm snow in my future living room =)

@Willy: Thanks a lot for the comment and thanks even more for the turorial! I've not yet had the occasion to try it out but I'll give you some feedback when I've tried it!
@Schulmanator, RickD, nbvc: Thanks a lot!
@Framly: Thanks a lot! It surely is a place for families!
@vortext: Thank you very much! Actually the bridge is in the middle of the woods. But that as far as my researches took me there must have been a trading route through that area at the time of Robert Bruce. And Scotland actually offers some surprises in its landscape. There are massive castles and other buildings in places where I could hardly imagine to find a hunters cabin   So it was my interpretation to build a massive bridge there ...
@Kergelen, FrankU, sunv: Thanks very much!

I finally found time to finish Kirroughtree Visitor Center. Actually I wanted to present another spot as well, but I didn't have time to arrange the surrounding area, and the BAT is ready but not rendered yet. So I'll keep that for another update  :)

I wish I would find time to render the building that's still waiting ... but at least one building is growing extremely fast:

I had a wonderfol roofing ceremony and even a rainbow showed up ... it was a great day!

The building is nearly done ... the electrician will start on Tuesday.

I hope I can present some new pictures from Alba pretty soon :)

Hi Guys, finally I'm preparing to start another comeback of Alba Ceann mu Dheas. I still have one BAT in the pipeline that hast to be rendered. It waits for rendering since April or May.

I'm really regret the long break. But by force of circumstances I really didn't have the leisure to go on with Alba. I lived in quite a chaos for about 2 months since I started to pack my belongings for the move which actually took place about a month ago.

My construction manager made me one of the best presents I ever had. He managed the construction so perfect that I was able to move on my 35th birthday. It was great! All the new neighbours came and we had a great party!
After the move there where still many things to do. But I'm quite settled in the meantime and I'm happy in my new home.

On Saturday Mozart (cat) an I got a new housemate: "Kalle" the dog. Kalle is a 14 months old beagle. He used to be an experimental animal in a laboratory. Fortunately there are some organisations which care for these animals and which are able to adopt the dogs which are still healthy enough to start a new life. I'm so happy to have Kalle here with us. Everything is new for him. Today he had his first day at the office and he really did a great job!

I hope I will be able to render my new building on wednesday. Thursday is a holiday in Germany and I actually plan a lazy day on the sofa playing SC4.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I hope the BAT will render my hotel without any problems so that I can start the LOT tomorrow. I really can't wait to play again and to try all the new stuff especially the plants from VIP :)

I just realized that some pictures are missing and I asked the provider about it and they told me that the pictures were lost in a crash of a hard disc on any of the servers. I'm really sorry about it and I'll try to replace the pictures. I still have them on my hard disc. But that'll take time and primarily I'll "produce" some new pictures.

Little leaves fall softly down
Red and yellow, orange and brown
Whirling, twirling round and round
Falling softly to the ground

Little leaves fall softly down
To make a carpet on the ground.
Then, swish, the wind comes whistling by
And sends them dancing to the sky.

Finally it's fall again and I really enjoy the walks with "Kalle". Fortunately I just have to leave the house to be on the fields and to start a long walk. There's just one street to cross on a one hour walk. I really love it!

At least I found leisure tonight to go on with Kirroughtree Camping Site and I took some pictures. The rendering of the hotel building went very well. I already checked it with Lot Editor. It seems to be o.k. When I wanted to start SC4 afterwards I had to realize that the CD-drive of my notebook was finally broken. It already showed some defects for quite some time but it still worked with the SC4-disc. But that problem is solved as well and the notebook is repaired.

@rooker just to answer how I've been. I actually had a great time building my house. It was pretty time consuming and sometimes annoying but retrospectively it was a great time to see my new home grow. It's a very special feeling to live in a building which you know from the first big black hole in the snowy ground. I've seen the casting of the floor plate and I know where the first bricks were set. I had sleepless nights when I had to decide the kind of flooring and the kind of tiles for kitchen and bathrooms. I wasn't sure if I chose the right things. But in the end I made the right decisions. There are surely some little details I would change if I could but overall it's a perfect home which allowed me to fulfill another dream. I always wanted to have a dog but I knew it wouldn't be right to have a dog in a flat in the 2nd floor. And now I have Kalle so my household is complete.

Weekend is coming and I hope I'll be able to prepare the next update! I'm really enjoying playing again!!!!!
