Banana River

The town of Primate Point lies along the banks of the Banana River, the principal river running across much of Monkey Island. The narrow river forks at several points along its path. Primate Point lies near one of the major forking areas. Just in case you were wondering how popular is the Banana? The answer: a whole bunch! Get it? You know, comedy like that usually costs hundred if not thousands of dollars. But, here, Monkey Island provides it absolutely free. Why? We take care of our clients first and what we miss out on in lucrative comedy we make up for in fees for removing clamps we place on people's tires. Hehehe...

Anywho, let's examine the nice suburban town of Primate Point and enjoy a day along the Banana River. Before we begin, Monkey Island would like to thank its corporate sponsors for their generous support:

And now, on to the update.

Banana River Part Deux

Time to float lazily along the Banana River. It eventually flows into the Monkey River and then into Monkey Bay. But, enough about geography. After all, if I don't have someone's paper to copy off of, how would I get the geography questions right? Ummm... I mean, a collaboration partner. Yeah, that's it. Collaboration. Yeah...

Anywho, let's examine the nice suburban town of Primate Point and enjoy a day along the Banana River. Before we begin, Monkey Island would like to thank its corporate sponsors for their generous support:

And now, on to the update.

Midtown office workers head over to Hooters for their lunch breaks.

Sometimes, they even order the food!

Leapin' Lemur Enterprises, Ltd. operates from this office tower. I am not sure of their line of work... but I am sure monkey business is involved.

My mother feels for the person living in the house at the end of the street... back yard abutting a rail line. She has a rail tunnel coming out at the bottom of the hill at the end of her property.... Annoys her to no end.

The riders on TransBanana Rail  pay just 1 banana to ride anywhere in Monkey Island.

Luckily, the economy is doing better than elsewhere. Eckerd was bought out in the USA and Goody's filed for bankruptcy in the USA. But, Monkey Island is prospering and both firms are making bushels of bananas from their operations here.

Even KFC does very well... and the new Kong-size combo meals are a big hit!

New river view condos have been built by the development group of Grape Ape & Associates. They sell for upwards of 50,000 bananas.

There's plenty more to get wild about in Monkey Island.... Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
