A B4 Parclo (with the loops non-functional as the piece required doesnt exist yet:

Its my first testing of the MIS - and I emptyed my plugins folder just for testing it, I'll likely be posting more Parclos as I test this thing out, maybe even a non-functional SPUI........

caspervg, you've really become quite the expert with the new ramp system there.  Those are just fantastic interchanges you've got there, and I like how you took advantage of all the space in the middle of the ramp loops.

Kitsune, that's an awesome Parclo B-4 there as well, and as far as being able to build a functional one, I am going to be putting that missing piece you need (the RHW-4 to Dual MIS Ramp) splitter in RHW v21, and I've been looking at how to get SPUIs implemented. ;)

Glad to see people are having fun with the new version here. :)

Here's one I did during testing:

Kitsune

Another Parclo, although technically its considered a Folded Diamond:

and a drum roll please, a SPUI, and it came out decently too:

here's one

Ennedi

@godjcjk12: Yes, it's very good intersection. If you would use wide curves next to the RHW exits, it would be perfect

@ Magee B: Dude, that's awesome!!! The hills and montains, going through them the highway. A small and simple interchange, yet with so much beauty. Don't ever stop what you do.

Everyone else: Nice intersections and interchanges everyone.
Best movie of all time: Ferris Bueller's Day Off. If you disagree, Cameron will send your car over a cliff.

Please, call me Leo.  I quote John Lennon now, a great musician and philosopher. Particularly, one of his songs: You may say I'm a dreamer. But I'm not the only one. I hope someday you join us, and the world will live as one.

Ennedi

@ Magee B: very interesting intersection in beautifully arranged surrounding!

I'd like to suggest two little improvements:
1. Some terrain levelling (at the loop)
2. Turn off the grid (press G)

@ magee_b I'm Jealous.  ??? Good work anyways.

Filasimo

magee_b: thats one fine interchange using the terrain elevation to get the RHW to pass over. how difficult was that to do? thats just simply amazing!  &apls

magee_b

wow... thanks for the comments everyone. I wasn't expecting it!

- Ennedi: Thanks for the suggestions. I use the grid a lot when helping to find my elevations and ensuring 'smoother' grades, i actually can't recall a time when I have turned them off/it didn't really cross my mind
- Filasimo: It was actually a fairly simple process, just a lot of tinkering and playing around with different grades. The intersection evolved as it was built and this is basically what i ended up with. Carving into the hillsides to make use of their height, and taking advantage of the natural slopes for some of the ramps (ie. the one to the far left)

Filasimo

thats pretty impressive i must say bc here where i live in nashville,tn theres alot of major highway interchanges that uses the land as natural ramps

That interchange is looking really fantastic, magee_b!
Like that around that pond.

magee_b, I usually agree with most of what  Ennedi has to say, (sorry buddy) especially when it comes to terrian, but in this case, I would leave the whole thing exactly as you have it now.  The less than perfect terrian around the loop gives it some character.  It shows that a bulldoser and other equipment needed to do some major work there.  I love it.
I think it would be good for you to dress it up a little with some farms and than maybe enter it in the SC4 Picture Competition found here.

Robin

Lovely interchange magee_b!  The water in the middle really adds to the image!

Anyways, I have some new RHW interchanges to show you featuring the new connectivity and the MIS system included in the latest version.  Have a look:

Well, thats it for now.  This new MIS looks promising.  I wonder how combinations can be made?
