Yes, indeed; it is the Signage Piece Mod  ;D

Anyhow, today is the last day for Casper's Portfolio in OSITM, and once again I would like to stress how thankful I am to the Mayor Diary Staff for letting have this enormous chance (and honor). I feel that I have taken the best out of this month, and I am enormously glad to see the numerous replies that the readers have given me. Thank you!

Update coming on Wednesday

Speaking for the MD Staff, we'd like to thank you, Casper, for doing such a wonderful job with your time in OSITM. The growth of your MD alone shows what can be accomplished for an MD author with this time.

You're doing excellent work here, and your commitment is a shining example for all of us!

Great job, my friend!

Replies
bat: Thank you, Bat!
Haljackey: Thanks, the station is pretty freaky indeed. Too bad it is only used at 2% of it's total capacity (even with pedestrians crisscrossing through it everywhere)
thundercrack83: I'm glad you like the ribbon, and thank you so much for the hard work you have done on the Mayor Diaries.
Schulmanator: Yeah, the Highsbury Transit Comittee has been very busy...
CabraBruitre: Thanks, I like to incorporate parks (espessially the BSC Modular Parks) once in a while. They keep the demand flowing as well.
Earth quake: Thank you, I glad you like it.
Tarkus: Hehe, you were not only part of it, you did a great job on it too. :P It's great to hear that I'm doing a good job at the transportation setup from someone that famous for doing exactly that.
Sheep49: The Bus Hub is indeed also a custom lot, but too bad you didn't catch the real thing. :P
squidi: Why thank you! I'm glad to see you like the parking lot I made with your most excellent textures ;)
nerdly_dood: Yes, indeed I have, with the coorporation (or was it blackmailing?) of Tarkus.
Pat: Muhahahaha! And yes, I got that homework done :D
thundercrack83 and the MD Staff: I am absolutely flattened by the fact that the Mayor Diary staff enjoyed my time in OSITM that much. To be honest, when I got the award, I thought "Oh, no way, I would really dissappoint them.". I'm glad that wasn't the case, and I've enjoyed the time myself the full hundred procent as well.
art128: Thank you!
mrtnrln: Tease tease tease! I love to tease. Glad you like it :)

Update 10: More Construction in Highsbury
As I have noted somewhere in the Replies, the Highsbury Transit Comittee has just decided on many more projects that have to be undertaken soon, to keep Highsbury in the Top 10 of the Most Transport-Efficient Cities, preferably in the Top 3. One of the plans include building Highsbury's first Subway line, which would connect the Station to the suburbs in East Side, which does not have any Mass Transit Links in it's neighbourhood. It was constated that people in East Side tend to get depressed and stressed much easier then people on the other suburbs, and one of the causes might just be their long, daily, journeys by car.

Anyways, enough talking...

For a change, we'll start with a night picture. It shows one of the unoccupied GLR-in-Roundabout places, where currently stations are being designed for.

Suburbs by night, in close proximity to a local hotel.

A well-lit Avenue-under-Rail underpass.

Roadworks by night.

Construction near this avenue has been started three days ago, and was deemed necessary to place some piping, because, the Architect of the Transport Hub had forgotten to place piping from the various toilets into the main pipes. This caused every single toilet to leak out non-fresh water every time they were flushed, and thus a speedy solution was needed.
I would like to thank Paul (Squidi) enormously for the idea (in his MD, Orlach), and espessially for the textures as well. This wouldn't have been possible without them.

A small park with a lookout over a Retirement Center and a Toys-r-Us store. Funny combination, isn't it?

More parks, suburbs and Retirement Centers.

Low-wealth area in Highsbury. There's plans to demolish this, and place something more... wealthy in it.

A small GLR Hub, close to St. Alexis Station.

Railway activity and a GLR.

Suburbs and a nice roundabout filler.

Well then, that concludes today's update.
I hope you enjoyed yourself, and that you'll come back ;)

Sweet...  :D

Love the night shots Casper!  The road construction shots and rail/GLR are looking fantastic as well.

One question, where did you find the ave construction prop?  I see them used in multiple MDs yet I can't seem to find them.

All the best,
-Haljackey
