No replies this time, there's too much of them... I'm extraordinary pleased with the outcome of the OSITM-entry. We had over 100 replies in month due to that. Plain awesomeness. I stand flabbergasted by the amount of support I am receiving, thanks everyone!

Update 8: Highsbury before the Catastrophy
Sorry for having no photoediting in these pictures.


GLR has come to Highsbury, as a way to compliment the huge usage of railway in between cities. Funny thing is that everywhere GLR is in any picture, it's all puzzlepieces. I prefer it over the draggable version for some reason...


But ofcourse Railways haven't been abolished. They are now used for intercity traffic and many new stations have been built.


A train driving up the embankement.


And it curves near some slums...


Highsbury even payed for GLR in Avenue, but not for the stations to go with it 


New malls were soon constructed near the modern stations.


But the good old suburbs still exist, this is a low-wealth example.


Suburbs, roundabouts and rail. Doesn't this describe the MD well?


It's that time of the year again...


One of the few remaining industrial sites in Highsbury. This site is proposed to become a big international rail station.


And a picture of the Mayor Statue to close down this upda...

Great use of the GLR, Casper.   The heavy rail also looks good.  That last photo has me worried about Highsbury, though.

At this rate, it looks like you'll have a few more comments to deal with this update too. Nice update following the teasers. I'm not sure if the two stations in the second pic are meant to be related, but their proximity suggests that there should be some sort of connection between them (paths or something). Nice work on the rail slope leading to the embankment and the pic showcasing your GLR/AVE is nice (even without stations). Your pic of suburbs, roundabouts and rails looks good, and a bit familiar based on earlier. I'll be interested to see how the Highsbury station project turns out. Some nice historic factories there, but I'll be interested to see how much of it remains. As I mentioned elsehwere, the Mayor's statue looks good too. Nice work ont his update, and I'll keep an eye out for what you'll have next.
