Great set of pics.
I think we should drop the "disappointment" subject, I'm starting to feel bad now. 
This update was fantastic.  Great work on the canal.  I like the little walking bridge you came up with.  The houses you have choosen to use all fit together very good as well.  And I see that you have used a special train station, I love the platform,  I have plans to use it as well.

I'm especially fond of your neighborhoods, casper. There is a sameness about them individually, but that is true of most residential areas. Striking differences are sometimes visible a short distance away, however, and I can see some of that variety in your photos. I like the overall effect of it. I'm not at all sure I'd want to live in a house that faces a busy avenue, but to each his own!

I'm looking forward to seeing what else you have in store for us this month.

I do love CP's Greek Revival/Early 19th Century stuff, it is very realistic... and I like how you use SG's canals. Nice update - too bad there won't be any more...

I am sorry that I have lacked updating over the last days, but I have been exceptionally busy with school (and more particularly homework) over the past days. Moreover, I am currently working on that new region I have told you about in the previous update; and it takes awhile to get it right; especially since I fear that it might become too similar to the past region. I will try my best to give you all an update sooner or later, but most preferably during the weekend.

Correction: it's the Adelaide map.

But it'd be interesting to see how you do it... but it kind of needs a river. A river would be cool for it. I notice you got rid of the waterways in the northern part: around where Port Adelaide is in real life. (actually, I think he only did the southern half of the metro area... and it appears as if the river that was there in RL isn't showing up on the map, oh well)

Should be interesting to see what you do with this map.
