I love all your work, Peter! Your reconstructions are really fantastic, and they really make my cities shine. I'm looking forward to one day being able to plop the Stadtschloss in one of my cities; it already looks terrific. I hope you'll be able to overcome the difficulties it's given you!

Feel brand new. Be inspired.

Looks good but I Prefer the other texture, with this texture looks too colorful, too clean !! Anyway, the model is just perfect Peter, you are doing a great job with this model, we can't wait to use it !!!

How is your progress with the other models ? You will upload them ? I hope so  ;)

Saludos amigo.

The worn out look of the initial texture certainly had more charm to it, though a bit too much. This is too clean and the shingles look a tad too large. Maybe you can try and create a nice copper blend inbetween?

The roof definitely looks better blue, but I agree with vortext that the old texture has more character. Perhaps you could try adjusting the hue of the old texture to make it bluer?

Have been thinking of this a lot, but I will have to say its just perfect.
Been looking around Copenhagen a lot. Here most copper roofs are light green (and there is a lot of them here). Heard its salt from the ocean that makes them even faster green.

For most of the time the copper roof last, its more or less pretty clean. Maybe a little more lighter green.

(Just) a few places the copper looking like this:

On the vertical surfaces that is.

I definitely prefer the new copper texture. I do wish it was just slightly greener though.

I would say it's the "Dreifaltigkeitskirche" and the "Neue Synagoge".
Really great projects!

Nice projects!

Looking forward tothe Synagoge's dome. That one has been on my mind for a while but I found the dome pattern too complex for me to model.  ()sad() Can't wait to see how you managed

Looks really nice Peter, I am just not confident with the wall texture of the "church" which looks like 1 "tint area"

Is there something you are not able to model?  :)

Beautiful new buildings  &apls  That dome is fantastic!

peterycristi

Hi folks,

thx for all your kind comments! Well, indeed i'm a little bit afraid of the dome, but i think i have allready an idea how to handle it. Maybe i should try that the next before going on with anything else, cause i guess this building stands or falls with the ability to create the dome... progress:

hope, you like it so far

Very good indeed!
Without the dome you can make something different out of it. If you happen not to succeed, but I'll hope you can make it.  &apls
