How Big is Your Plugins Folder?

Phew it has grown a lot since the last time i post here. Right now i have 1.22 GB of files in my Plugins fiolder.
In total: 4329 files in 618 folders.

Allright theres mine and with a total of 810 folders
with total amount of 4,080 files... Some of its DatPacked..
Now that i have a new machine that can handle it most of
its not packed....

4.32 gig, thats just the ones i'm currently using, lol. I plan on dat packing them someday, but I just don't know when. lol

Don't worry, flame1396---826MB becomes 2 GB in no time, especially with the great stuff on the LEX!

Mine is a sad 282MB, and there is so much more i wish i can download. But I have to deal with a computer that only has about 1.5GB left in the C drive...

I am so jealous. I have been going crazy trying to download lots and I keep getting error from the "Official Site" I have tried everything over the past 3 days. I would really appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction to creating a plugin with just one item in it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi and welcome to devotions i belive what you are looking for is this The DatPacker....
This will take your plugins folder and all of your subfolders that are in the
PLugin folder and it will make those subfolders into dats, as long as you have all
your files into folders and no dats or lotfiles laying around...
as it will make the game run alot faster for you and allow you to DL more goodies...

JML, did you say you were downloading from the official site.  Don't.  The lots on there are often untested, and also often ripoffs of stuff done here and ST etc.

My plugins around a Gig packed, but I see it getting bigger when I start preparing for CAM.

Only 30 well seperated and organized files. Clean as a whistle. 2.31GB. Seems like I have everything.... at least everything that has been tested and from a reputable source (sometimes I take chances....).

My computer has very little trouble keeping up (2GB Dual Channel DDR2 872MHz - SATA RAID 0 Stripe HDD's). I should be able to double it before I start having problems.

I've also run these plugins in a region with 3.5 million sims and still no problems.... Just CAMed up last night (took ages), however it only added 0.4GB.

Notice as well, I have every prop available (PROPS Complete). I never have a missing dependancy.

I dont even wanna know how bad my plugins are bulgin after DL'ing SNM and CAM stuff lol and to mention a few other goodies i've found.... but Beskh you still are sitting at 2g after dat packin? dannnnng lol

Right now, about 4.1 gigabytes. It's just about impossible to find anything in there anymore, no organization whatsoever.
Needle in a haystack just doesn't give it justice. How about needle in a cornfield?

1.76 gigs, it jumped up 700MB cause of all the CAM Lots and stuff I threw in after it came out. Thank God for datpacker

I just checked tonight and was kinda surprised, but also not at the same time.

Currently standing at 4.5G exactly with the compressed folder at 4.39G

I do use alot of stuff in my cities, and to be honest have totally lost track of everything I have, just no point anymore

Just reinstalled for what must be the 10th time in the past 4 or 5 years of actually playing. So its to LEX I go and a full download of pretty much everything I can. Along with a donation at some stage in the coming days as my thankyou

I'm now pushing 2.83 GB. I cleaned up a bit last night and didn't actually delete anything...I think I have a downloading problem!

Hiiiiii Im pat and im addicted to SimCity 4 and downloading problem as well, ooooh wait this
aint the thread to admit that is it?  Oh well anyways im at over 5k and 9 files, eating at
at total of 1.62 gb and all of this is not packed...
