Moshi gets my vote too.

Moshi 5-2 nerdly_dood
First things first, but not necessarily in that order.

Nardo69

I go for Moshi, as I still like his diagonality and the use of the ElTrain over Road. It would've been easier though if the elTrain would continue and not end at that OddfromSweden-BAT

Nerdly_Dood, that Lot with the retaining walls is a strongly dedicated place for dozer 07. Either all Lots have retaining walls on a slope ore none at all.

But it's a tight one ...

Moshi: An excellent cityscape with few flaws.  The elevated train rail looks kinda weird ending at that building, and I would've liked to see more traffic on the streets in such an urban environment.  A very nice layout, beautiful arrangement of diagonals, and modern skyscrapers/buildings blended in is the perfect formula for one amazing picture.  Great work!

nerdly_dood: I really like your work with suburbs.  Your talent is jaw-dropping!  The RHW looks really realistic with the high amount of traffic traveling along it as well as the perfect set-up of houses.  The only negative thing in your shot is the house with the retaining walls.  It looks plain ugly!  Nevertheless, another well-made area.  &apls

Moshi barely wins this one.

Moshi:  Great picture!  looking at it, everything seems to really work well together, and the transition between straight and diagonals looks seamless.  I also like the construction up at the top, just adds a little extra detail .  The El-rail is also very well done(I'm assuming the building it enters is a station.)

Nerdly_dood:  It's a nice setting.  A lot of people just avoid working with slopes rather than dealing with them.  But I think it could have been done better.  The connection to the RHW could have occured on flatter ground above or below the slope, and a feeder road could have connected the surrounding houses for a ways.  I find this much more common than having a lot of at grade intersections to such highways.  And the poor guy living in the hole there has already been discussed, so I'll spare you the nagging :D.  All I have to say is he must get some terrible drainage there when it rains, lol.

So I'll cast my vote for Moshi

edit: just fixed Nerdly_dood's name.  Misspelled it the first time.

Its refreshing to see a round with just plain old, in-game pictures! Onto the comments!

A downtown as it should be Moshi! Nice use of the diagonal buildings and a good variety of different building heights. As mentioned, the El-rail that abruptly ends does seem strange, it was one of the first things I noticed because it was right in the middle of the image. If it was just a feature nearer to the borders of the image, it probably would not be as visible.

Good to see a developing town pitted against a growing city, nerdly_dood. I like seeing the mixture of some custom and maxis content, especially the slope-conforming houses from c.p. However, using a slope mod to smooth out the roller-coasting effect of the current RHW would be a major improvement to the image. Also, it seems to be lacking some much-needed flora that should insulate the rural neighbourhood from the road noise.

On these points, my vote goes to Moshi.

nerdly_dood: While your farms look good, I'd like to see some smoother hills with the RHW. It would help to make a good picture better, in my opinion.

I'll finish things off with a vote for Moshi.

10-3, Moshi.

It's onto the third round for moshi.

I've previously mentioned my thoughts about Moshi's pic in previous rounds, and it is a good one. While I'm not much for photoshopping (I like to see what the game can do on its own), I do appreciate it when it is done well. I like the effect in Chrisadams' pic, though it does warp the streets a bit, flattens the cars and that statue. I also like the mirroring trick for the perspective, but the only trouble with it is that writing on buildings gets reversed too (case in point, the barber shop on the left). I really like the building in the center fo the pic though. it divides the roads quite well and is a good visual effect. The details of the pic (parks, statues and all) really look good and add to the overall effect. My vote this round goes to Chrisadams3997.
1-0

thundercrack83

I have to give my vote to Chrisadams3997 for this round. His picture is very well composed, the Photoshopping has added another dimension without taking away from the picture itself.

I'm still a fan of the downtown that Moshi entered, especially the EL-rail, though.

2-0, Chrisadams3997.

Cockatoo-210893

Chrisadams, you're picture is defiantly a nice one, but the Photoshoping has squashed the image too much IMO making it almost look like something out of the Simpsons - too cartoony for me.
Moshi, that really is beautiful city building, very realistic and defiantly worthy of the HoF.
I vote Moshi making it  2 – 1  to Chrisadams.

Kitsune

I fully agree with Cockatoo, chrisadams pic looks nice but is ruined by the squishiness, to the point that I get quezzy looking at it! That, and Moshi's pic is HOF calibre....

So I vote for Moshi.

The Score is tied at 2.

Q-Tips

Moshi's city picture looks nice with some great BAT's. But i dont like how the light rail end and i dont like where the tv / communication tower is placed. I find Chrisadams picture likebale, so my votes goes to him.

Moshi - 3
Chrisadams - 4

CasperVg

I would vote for Chrisadams' picture, but the photoshopping has stretched it out to much IMO, so Moshi get's my vote, with a just splendid picture.
