Bengt ... there is an old steam locomotive on the rails at the back ... thanks to Jestarr ... this lot is part of my heritage rewards chain and it features old building that has been renovated by Oliver Cromwell and he does these things and preserve the architecture in an environment where it is functional as well.

The city outgrew the use of this place and it went to the rats ... Oliver Cromwell renovated it and turned it into a lovely eating place. So the rail is not odd ... it is part of the decor.

Work, the annoying period between bike trips.

And again a vote for Colyn - I make it 8-3 so far  &apls
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it

Both pics are very good and both are relaxing but I have to go with Colyn again.

My vote is for Pvarcoe: the flooded road is a very creative touch, the rocks blocking off the now flooded road make it seem like it has been disused for quite some time, and the pic as a whole looks good. (Colyn's pic almosts had me though due to the train).

Citynut

both pics suck - just kidding - it is a close vote but if I had to vote I would vote for Coyln

A big congrats to Colyn and the beautiful Sundowner....let's see if the next one will prove to be a winner too:

Sundowner

vs the new challenger

Teacat...you forgot the Dock Pub and Castlepark Marina...spent many a night there, supping Murphy's on deck.  Last time I was there it was anything but sleepy :D :D :D

However, the Hairy Bloke on the Bike's shot still gets my vote...the atmosphere is just exquisite.

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it

Masochist

I cast my vote for...oooh, hard one!  I love those sunken lots, but I like the charm of Colyn's "Sundowner"...

I think I'll have to go with Colyn on this one (I think I've voted for that guy four times in a row now...aiya...)
(Under Construction)

Caliban

Its got to be Colyn again I think.. though I do like that boat moored there.

bwatterud

Ooh.  I love TheTeaCat's pic, but I'm going to have to go with Colyn.

LOL I've yet to vist those establishments but it seems from your comments that this is an oversight easily remedied  :D

Colyn's picture is beautiful and a great shot with wonderful atmosphere.

TeaCat's picture is great too, and I really like the underwater stuff, but I vote for Colyn this time.

Thornton

Nice picture TheTeaCat, you've got my vote.

Colyn.  TeaCat, I'd like to see more of your work, but Colyn has a real heavyweight pic here.

Bobbo

I think both pix are strikingly beautiful, but Colyn's really catches my eye - so Colyn has my vote!
