SC4 Picture Competition

Hmm this one is a difficult choice.

Cal's picture is very creative and I love the effects. But the grid is a bit of a problem.

Dedgren's is also a fantastic picture. I like how the trees are in species groups rather than equally interspersed, it looks very realistic.

Both pictures are great displays of custom content. 

I think in the end I will vote for Cal, as his effect is very original, in spite of the small slip.

I go for david, because of Cal's grid.

I like Cal's painting, but there is a bit to much Vishoek cottage in there (besides grid and frame ).

David pictures is pure nature, so he'll get my vote today..

Wow... this one is tough!  They're both such great scenes... very peaceful... and both look much warmer than the crappy weather outside... and they're both really pretty... and... aaargh!!!        

I'll vote for Cal because it remind me of something my grandpa would have painted.

You are all seeing the wrong thing in Cal's pic....
1--do you realize how valuable that pic will be someday?  Those grid lines mark it as a true "Original Cal".....
2--and just think how long it took him to paint all those lines.....and if you look really closly..every one is as strait as an arrow....

Besides that....I love the ambiance of the whole scene.....

So with my vote for Cal.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to vote or not, but if I am, I'll vote for David (dedgren). It's a tough call, but I'm not crazy about the frame in Cal's picture. If I'm not permitted to vote, though, disregard this.
