And there you have it!  The round is over!

And in a powerful fashion, Colyn has managed to win the round 10/1!

He's also managed to be the first person with more than one picture in the Hall of Fame...and back to back, too!  Awesome job, Colyn!  &apls

But now two more challengers are needed...anyone wanna step up?

Oh, yeah...when you guys vote, could you guys put up the current score in your post?  It might make it easier to figure out when the round ends and such...thanks!

OK- I got stomped by c.p. last time...

...and it really hurt...

(there, now I've wrapped up the sympathy vote)

...here's my new entry.

Tight Corner rapids on Liv's Creek just after spring thaw

A most worthy challenge, Travis my man...

...looking around for matches and gasoline...

That's a nice wooden covered bridge...

Ouch!  Harsh choice you guys have...gotta get nit-picky here...

Ahh, dedgren has all those different stone textures along his shore, but the rushing water in that stream is excellent!  Travis has the grid on (but it's not too noticable), and he has dark blue standing water (which I'm not quite a fan of)...but he has a covered bridge!  Aiya  :'(!!!

After careful consideration, I think I'm going to have to go with dedgren on this one...but I foresee this one being a really close round!

2/0 dedgren

P. S. Rounds like these would be an advantage of having split competitions...think so?  Don't think so?  Have your say in the Suggestion Box thread (please don't answer that question in here)!  ;)

jen_p

These are both really good, but I have to go with Dedgren on this one, the other is a little too bright for my taste.

3/0 Dedgren

oldrogue

I agree, another close competition......hummmmmm... :-\

Both are the kind of areas that I love to see and work with........

Both are better done than I would have been able to do...... ()sad()

Fall in New England or Spring in the Rockies....... :-\

sigh......can't vote for both......sooooooooooooooooo... ()what()

Been in love with New England Autumns all my life

Vote for Travis......
3 to 1 in favor of Dedgren
Sometimes I go into my own little world....but it's ok, they know me there.

threestooges

Travis, the bridge is a great addition, but in my opinion, it seems too high off the ground such that those bulky cement pylons are showing, also you left the grid on (which is not noticable, but in a contest like this, every bit counts.

Dedgren (David), the game water adds a nice touch when put to use like that (as I have seen before) and it looks great (although the big rocky area at the top right side of the creek seems to kind of "float" on the ground rather than being in the ground. However,

may vote goes to Dedgren (4/1 dedgren leads)

wouanagaine

This is a fair challange as both pics are landscapes

I go for Dedgren, mainly because of the in game water effect

5/1 for Dedgren

Divide wouanagaine by zero and you will in fact get one...one bad-ass that is - Alek King of SC4

BarbyW

I agree with Wouanagaine as I love the water effect in dedgren's.
6/1 for dedgren

Congratulations Colyn &apls &apls
The Kettle's on
( I knew it was up against a "heavyweight" when entered as David said ;D )

Right this round once again we have another difficult decision to be made
1. David's entry . Once again it is the attention to detailthat catchs my eye. i can see myself taking a stroll along the banks.

2 Travis's entry. The attention to details is great. Unfortunatley I am not a fan of covered bridges. They are not a common sight where I come from.

So with that been said my vote this time is for david.

the score stands now
7/1 in David's favour.

A vote from me for David....And it looks like a whitewash by the Shark Lawyer...

Let's see if ¨Morning Mist over Babblecombe Ford¨ will be up to the challenge?

challenges this:

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it

BarbyW

Aha, I see Constable has arrived to paint SC4 ;D I love that pic as it is so quintessentially England.
1/0 for Cal

mjig_dudy

well, My vote will have to go to callagrafx, Despite that the grid lines are also painted on  $%Grinno$%

Colyn

Well we have a good challenge on hand but I have some comments ... Cal did a great job here and it is exactly what we are after. However ... I have two problems with his shot ...

1. The grid shining through the canvas ... sorry Cal ;)
2. The frame is way over the top for me ... and yes I know that was a style in old England but still ... I dont like that frame ... too much frame ...  :o

So, my vote goes to the Legal Eagle.

2/1 it is for Cal.
