jestarr

Thanks BB and rooker.  I'm glad you like them. ;D

@mightygoose:  What did you have in mind?  Something like this?

meinhosen

Sorry for the delay in finding pics for you...  here's a couple that might help:

Wichita, KS - there's a lot of closeups of this elevator on the web, although most of the closeups are of the explosion that happened there back in 1999.

More of the same - pretty self explanatory.

Everything's looking great... can't wait to see this stuff hit the LEX (especially that grain elevator).
You're telling me I get to be home for more than 12 months?

jestarr

@meinhosen:  That's certainly a leviathen! :D

So, for those following along, I got the urge (again) at lunch and started working on this; Currey PetroChemical.  This will be another longish, narrow model, which could fit along a rail line or canal, or as a standalone for that matter.  There's still a bit to do; new tanker, other props, textures, etc.  Anyway here's a test render pic of my start.  Cheers!

Bluebeard

Aside from your the best darn industrial bat artist. How long does a "Test" take and how many folks to you have "Testing" your awesome lots?.Thanx

jestarr

BB, the average for testing is about 2 weeks.  As for the number of testers, it varies with their RLS, but it's around a half dozen.

G&K looks amazing, I think you have done a wonderful job with the lotting on this one.  The placement of the parking lots and the fences are very realistic.  CPC also looks great so far, can't wait to see how the texturing turns out.  Keep it up!

How about some nice modern high industries for CAM?   :P
I find that alcohol, taken in sufficient quantities, can bring about all the effects of drunkenness.

jestarr

Hmmm... factories are my forte, but I can probably give it a whirl. :D

ky72x

I'm more partial towards factories as well, hehe. :P  But I guess some HT industries would look nice.  ;D

hydra

Nice to hear jestarr you work is just bloody great.

Keep up on the work.

NAM + CAM + RAM + SAM, that's how I roll....

toxicpiano

Awesome! How about something like intel's offices/factory or something like that... Googleplex? Or something generic...

Serkanner

How about just let jestarr build whatever he likes modeling? Everytime I see a new jestarr product released I am full of joy that the industrial area's of my cities are becoming better and better.

mightygoose

i totally agree serkanner but does not curiosity make you wonder what other marvellous creations these specialists could produce if they broadened their horizons so to speak...
NAM + CAM + RAM + SAM, that's how I roll....
