Wow, this is real cool work!
Yes indeed, the rocks are a bit too large.

Are you going to make some lots for onshore storage of these bulk materials? The only ones I know of are the coal docks by Jeronij, very old but nice.

Since rooker1 asked about this, here's an in-game test pic of all the components finished (well, maybe :D) to date.  This is currently an 18x23 lot and with roads, rails, assorted textures and other props, the lot will probably end up at 20x25. :P  This is also fairly close to a zoom 3 view as zoom 4 almost fills my screen at 1280x1024.  Cheers

What happened to the plant? :(

I imagine it is still somewhere on jestarr's HDD, I think he stopped working on it because he needed a break.

jestarr

Unfortunately, it still has LOD problems.  It was so annoying, I stopped working on it for a while.  I will get back to it soon. ;D  On another note, the river barges are done and posted to the LEX.  They're ploppable on both water and land.  That way you can use them to visually enhance your rivers and shorelines, or use them with Diggis Pond and Stream set (see below pic).  There are 5 lots, with a slightly different model on each.  Water, power, and road access isn't necessary, but they still light up. They're, also, offered as props for those wishing to use them in their own lot making.  Cheers!

Diggis:  No problem.  They look and work great!

Now for my latest lunchtime endeavor.  I have no idea what it's going to be yet, but I'm leaning toward textiles of some sort.  Cheers!

JESS,

I added your river barges to my harbour. They look great.
Then I wanted to do some LOTting with them. And I searched sooo much, but I could not find them. Neither in the props list nor in the prop families list.
Could you give me the number/code or whatever you call the index number of the file? Please?

Here's my first attempt of putting your boats in use:

jestarr

OK, I included the wrong prop dat in the zip. &mmm  I've updated the file on the LEX with the correct one.  All the barges will fit on a 1x1 tile now.  This won't prevent the "Water Graphics Bug", when removing the base texture, it just hides it under the model so it won't be seen. :)

FrankU

Oh, great!

I must confess that after having resized the lot to 8x2 I found your propfamily. I should have remebered that props don't show in the list if they do not fit onto the lot.

I made a lot with PEG's canal water, but I'm not sure I'm going to use it. Your barges are so much bigger than PEG's scows that I fear I have to widen all my canals to fit them into. And I'm not sure if I want to do that right now. :'(
