I am digging some stuff up from older cities.

Here is a powerline in the fields:

And some more of those powerline:

Not so very rural but nice to see those powerlines over some buildings.

Heres are some luxurious farmsteads.

Well, about as rural as it gets, 1860's style:

EDIT: I actually have one more rural pic:

Diggis

What did you use to get the powerlines over lots?

Alfred.Jones

I want that Single Rail Mod and the Double Train Mod thing $%Grinno$%

Great work Frankie

Where did you find the single line train?   #?¿?¿?$ That makes things look a lot more rural than the 2 line default.

Looks Good.

Frankie

I made that single track rail  ;D Just eye candy; nothing special.  :)

Citynut

Your farms look great!

I like the way you have some of the residential groups surrounded by farms.  It looks like a family group where "gramps" owned the farm and his kids have build houses around the farm.  They plan to inherit the farm after gramps passes on to the big farm in the sky.  :wings:

I've struggled with my farms.  The program plops down Pumpkin Acres on almost every farm I zone.  I don't know where it comes from.  It must be a Maxi farm.  I've cleaned out my plugin folder of all my downloaded farm files and it still gets plopped.  Go figure #?¿?¿?$

The farms I used are from jmyers and yes I have probs of maxis farms groing too I just bulldoze the whole farm and whalaa I had a jmyers farm grow. Glad you liked the pic

Citynut - I love the look of that rural area!

Frankie - That single track RR is great.  Now I'm going to have to go into the lot editor and hunt down some single-track textures...  The Civil War era pic is great.  I'd like to see some more of those.

You're telling me I get to be home for more than 12 months?
