WOW ... :shocked2:

This incredible stuff could change my point of view about diagonals ...  will it possible to add props in front of these BATs along streetwalks , even if the free space looks very thin ?

Anyway : &apls &apls &apls

Unfortunately not, or it would be a quite hard, they'd also need to be overhanging. I had to render the pavements into model files, because I don't know how to control ground textures.

If the other diagonal batters are rendering the pavements as I have done, shadows/lights may look silly when buildings are plopped wall to wall (first pic).
I placed there a plane (green line) with 100% opacity (2nd pic), gmax default lights always cast shadows, no matter opacity and the buildings on rows look better now.

That was my first thought , but looking attentively to the pictures , it seemed me to see some tree props appearing not correctly ... ::)

Anyway , I truely love your work like it is ....

I'm not sure why some of the buildings don't always light up..?

As far as I know, the game has a small bug that is triggered in one particular rotation (south?). If a prop is placed next to the lot border or overhanging the lot, it doesn't light up at night in this rotation. Since your props are overhanging the lots as well, I think they are suffering from the bug, too.

But with nightlights or not, those are some spectacular pics, and I'm sure your BATs will change any European W2W downtown forever (wait, I think I said that before, didn't I?).

What a sight to see all of these together in one spot. This will be a transformational set -- allowing diagonals to be developed at a level not done before. You are a pioneer in diagonal development!

Indeed. prepo should get the highest reward for making these. I suggest prepo to receive Finnish Innovation award  ;D

And I consider myself as a bad copycat when trying to make my own diagonals.

These buildings not only look great, but their diagonal orientation will certainly open new graphic areas within the game. Thank you.

great buildings! Fantastic work!

prepo

I've made two diagonal filler lots with parked cars, they are both rendered "all in one", no separate props.

I used Jeroni's diagonal fences on the upper left corner lot.

My diagonal BATs with some other w2w buildings:

Great work!  :) And the filler lots with those parked cars, make it even more realistic. Can't wait to download it.  ;D
